Have you ever played Portal? It's the best thing on the Orange Box.
I'll Buy That for a Fiver

I got caught up in the sales again this weekend and picked up a bunch of five dollar games and one amiibo. I also played some New Super Mario Bros U and more of Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story.
Here's the list:
Enslaved: Journey to the West
Orange Box
Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena
Viking: Battle for Asgard
Star Trek
Star Wars Kinect
007 Legends
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
Little Big Planet 2
Animal Crossing amiibo Rover
I've always wanted to play Enslaved. Maybe I played a demo for it once? I don't remember.
Orange Box used to be in my collection. Now it's back. Can anyone tell me why Half-Life 2 and the extra chapers aren't available for digital download on Xbox or PS4? It's in the top ten highest rated games of all time. WTF!
I've tried Riddick before and didn't quite take to it, but I'm still hearing about how great it was, so I'm going to try it again. This is the ultimate edition of Escape from Butcher's Bay.
That Viking game is something I might've played before, but I'm not sure. It was in my collection years ago and then left. I'm doing a Viking theme for January, so maybe I'll play it. Not sure if it's back compatible with Xbox One but probably not.
Star Trek is by all accounts a terrible game but I just have to see the ships, environments and story of it, being a Star Trek fan.
Star Wars Kinect I occassionaly hear good things about even though it was ripped in the press on release. I'd like to swing a light saber even in a bad game. Plus my Kinect could get some use.
007 Legends is a game that will never be repeated for licencing reasons. This one revisits classic locations in the 007 films, so I got to see that.
RE 4 has always frustrated me, but it's so highly rated, I have to give it another go.
I've played the first LIttle Big Planet and liked it, although, it's really not my sort of thing. Still, it's Media Molecule, so I'd like to see what they did in the sequel.
I got a Animal Crossing amiibo for the Amiibo Festival Wii game I got recently. It was at Five Below, so why not. I like the look of Rover too. I know nothing about that character.
I'm tracking down one more game before Xmas, Disgaea 4 for PS3. The complete edition has recently come out to good reviews, so I thought I'd get the original on the cheap to try it out.
I also played an hour or so of New Super Mario Bros. U the other day. It's an interesting 3D take on Super Mario Bros platforming. So, it's easy, which makes me like it. We'll see what I think when it inevitably gets hard and makes me rage quit. I'm going to put on my best ninja patience to try and get through it.
I also put a little more time into Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I nearly got stuck on a level but with getting Bowser to drink water to change the level and discovering how to shrink Mario, I got through it.
That's a weekend, I think. Tomorrow I work, so I won't game probably at all. I'll read some more of Halo: Oblivion, the new Halo book by Troy Denning, very likely. I'll blog about that when I'm done.
