Don't worry, Tom Clancy sees a lot of stuff based on his books as fantasy anyway:
The Clancy bit is at 2:59. It never starts when I tell it to when I share these.

After several days of installing over 100GB of COD: Modern Warfare, I finally got to play it. Then I returned to finish the new DLC in Borderlands 3.
COD: MW: I played up until that part where you are a kid hiding from a murderous soldier. I got a weapon and hid well, but I couldn't figure out how to hurt him other than stab his feet a few times. That usually got me shot too. I'm sure I had to climb something to jump on his back or something, but the game gave me no hints. I needed an excuse to stop anyway because I'm not a fan of modern day settings in games. I look for fantasy or scifi in gaming, not Tom Clancy type stuff. The game is very good though.
B3 DLC: Mark jumped in my game with me and we got a little farther in the story. We often argue because we are different types of players. He's a killer type and I'm an explorer. So he often gets pissed when I leave a battle to hunt for secrets. I really could care less for the battles right now. Every location is another arena and you end up circle straffing like crazy. I hate being out flanked and with this kind of level design, it's impossible to maintain any sort of position for long. It's designed for frantic, contant movement. It's supposed to be exciting but I find it annoying as heck. But I managed to find a lot of secrets and occationally help out with a tough battle from time to time. It's fine.
I also manged to pick up Disgaea 4 today for $7. I think I'll take down my Wii-U and setup my PS3 sometime soon.
I come to expect that with quadruple A games like COD, but when it takes more than a whole day to install, there's something wrong with that. I think with preorders, though, the game installs ahead of time and then unlocks on day-one. That's maybe the only way around it if you want to play the minute it releases.
