Witcher 3 is gigantic, man. Watched my brother play a lot of it.
Finished Swap-Force

I got through the main campaign of Skylanders: Swap-Force the other day. This is now my second completed game of 2020. Of course, I’m not done with it yet.
I played the campaign on Hard difficulty, which may have been a mistake because it made me quite annoyed in the last few boss fights. But overall it was good because a little challenge kept me more interested. Not to say the game isn’t interesting, but it is Diablo-lite and designed mainly for kids. Puzzles are pretty easy except maybe one or two of the lock puzzles. These task you with getting two different colored gelatinous cubes together on a grid with different obstacles and pickups. I liked those.
Battles are what really tasked me late in the game. On hard difficulty you take a lot of damage that is hard to avoid. At one point, in order to avoid replaying a level, I had eleven Skylanders lined up (I have all 16 Swap-Force figures). I used a rule I applied when I was just using Magna Charge and Boom Jet: if both get knocked down, I grab a new one. By the final boss, I had eleven Skylanders lined up ready to go. It was fun to see all their different abilities. However, some of them weren’t leveled very high, so they didn’t stay in very long. I’d usually end up with my highest level figure, Magna Charge, finishing a level.
There are challenge stages, bonus levels and survival arenas to do, but I may take a break to work on the Xbox Rewards Quests for the month. I downloaded Paranormal 2 to fulfill two quests: one for achievements in an ID@Xbox game and another for playing anything new. Witcher 3 is on the list too as is Minecraft; although, I can’t get several achievements in Minecraft for the Quest because I only have one left. It’s fun to go for the quests. I make back a little bit of money and it forces me to try new games.
