Ah, I prefer screenshots anyway.
that Jurassic park game seems pretty interesting. Seems ideal for a sim type game.

For a while there, I had forgotten about being able to save video and screen shots on Xbox. I'm back at it though. Here are a few recent ones.
First is one I took from Jurassic Park Evolution. This is a very cool sim game where you manage a dinosaur park. It's complex and a little tricky to figure out at the beginning, but there are tutorials and I eventually learned how to power all my buildings, hatch new dinos and send out rescue crews to cure illness or remove corpses. I took this shot of the Triceratops because you can get the camera right down to ground level and watch the dinos.
Next are a couple of examples of Mark going after witches. Witches throw potions that slow and poison you. Their strong poison one is deadly, so I stay away unless I have a bow. But they can't be left to roam the village, so I call Mark over, and he dives right in with a sword day or night.
Almost more deadly than witches are mini mobs (that's what I call them). These guys run fast and get under your sword attacks to wittle your health down. Sometimes it takes the two of us to take them out.
The endgame of every world we play is total destruction, usually with fire and sword. It's funny how unresponsive the villagers can be when this happens. They'll even keep sleeping with their house on fire.
Near the end of every day, the villagers gather in the town square to trade. Sometimes Mark and I are there to participate but usually we're doing it at different times. I thought it was funny seeing Mark trading with all the vilagers one late afternoon.
Some of these where taken from video clips. I still can't seem to figure out how to easily share a xbox video clip to pixlbit unless I first transfer it to youtube, which is an additional step I'd rather not do.
I'm interested in doing some animated gifs, if I can ever get enough time to learn how to do it.
It's really good. Mark and I got hung up on how to give power to buildings, but after a quick read of one of the tutorials, I figured it out. As usual with games like this (specifically remembering Viva Pinata) predators are always eating my herbivores.
I'm too lazy to post screenshots myself.
I remember when they were showing off Jurassic World Evolution at E3 or PAX. Can't remember which show, but the booth was really neat. Made it look like a mini Jurassic Park.
And speaking of booths, TellTale had a neat Minecraft themed booth one year at PAX for Minecraft Story Mode. You would've loved it.
I've gotten lazy about it too because it means snipping from my video clips on Xbox.com. I'm usually pretty rushed went writing a blog, unfortuneately.
I bet those displays were cool to see in person. I'm going to a local convention in a few months. It's too small to have major developers there though.
I only played a demo for Minecraft Story Mode. I suppose it if came to Game Pass I'd give it a playthrough. Which makes me think, now that Minecraft is owned by MS, why isn't it there now?
