What did Mark and I play today? Here's the skinny. 

played some Bleeding Edge today for a MS rewards quest. It's Ninja Theory's battle royale game. I played all the tutorials and one match, which my team won. I was about done after that though. Neat characters and special abilities. I played as the Norwegian black metal guitar player. I put a goth look on him too. That's dark on top of dark. It doesn't get none darker. 

Then I reinstalled Battle Chasers for a rewards quest, and was happy to do so, because last time I played it, I really liked it but didn't finish it. This is part Diablo, part turn-based rpg - two great tastes in one. You roam the overworld and dungeons in isometric point of view and then, whenever you run into an enemy, change to 2D and turn-based for the battles.The graphical style is really gorgeous. I like the characters and special powers. The battles are rich in variety and strategy. So when I got the rewards quest of getting only 1500 XP, I kept going and didn't want to stop. I'm almost where I was last time I played it. I may take a break from it because I got Gauntlet II for NES today, but I will leave it installed because I want to finish it. 

What did my friend Mark play, you ask (I know you're asking)? Well, I saw him playing Dynamite Fishing a lot and then Doom Eternal. In Doom I challenged him to play on Insane difficulty and he did, but he still had all the cheats active. He was running around with an infinite ammo BFG just tearing the place up. I'll get that game eventually. It's already down to $40 or so right now, but i'll wait a little longer, or figure out how to make more than 10 cents a day, like I am.
