I rented that Duck Dodgers game back when I was a SNES-playing teen. Seemed pretty fun. Nothing I'd buy, but I enjoyed the rental. I loved how when you got hit, Daffy Duck would whimper "Mother" like in the cartoon.

The ducks have invaded Disneyland, and it's your job to get them back to their ponds and clean up the park. WIth your duck catcher net and a broom, it's time to do your Disney duty. "Custodian crusade!"
Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions [SNES]:
I've always wanted to play this game because I'm a big fan of Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2 Century cartoon. The environment art for the cartoon is right out of modern abstract art and I love it. The art in the game isn't so much that but more like Earthworm Jim, I suppose. The game is a 2D platform/shooter. You play as Duck Dodgers jumping across platforms and shoot at aliens, probably from the cartoon, but I haven't seen it for a long time and don't remember exactly if they are. I traversed several areas of the game, fought two aliens at once several times as a kind of mini-boss fight and then died fighting this creature in what looked like a space ship with a retractable arm. At the beginning of the game you can purchase different sorts of weapons, lives, powerups and fuel for your jetpack. You also have a shield. The controls seemed fine. I had to get used to how far you can jump and how much you slide when you take a hit in the shield, but it worked good enough. I'll keep playing it and see if I can beat that first boss.
Disneyland Adventures:
I bought this for my Xbox One for $4 the other week. I've already played the heck out of it on Xbox 360 but I had maybe six achievements left. Today I got one for getting platinum on several different attractions and two others for playing local co-op. The co-op is sort of lame because you can't share stats and can't seperately explore the park. The host drags you around until you get into a mini game attraction and then both can really play. Achievements only drop for the host too, so we had to switch consoles, but, now that I think of it, we might have been able to just switch as host on one console. I'm not sure though. Anyway, we just played co-op long enough to get the two acheivements and then stopped. I kept playing solo so i could work on completing all the hidden Mickey photographs. I have maybe 60% of them on my own, but to save time, I started to use a walkthrough to get the rest. I have more to do there. The hard part is going to be getting platinum scores on all the attractions. I am going to try though.
Borderlands 3: Takedown at the Guardian Breach
Mark and I tried to get through this raid boss area that just got added to B3. We failed because I think you need more people for the third battle area. You have to power up these four or five crystals while being attacked. Something timed out and we kept failing it. I'm not sure exactly what we were supposed to do, but maybe there was a time limit on that particular area. Anyway, these kinds of experiences, the multiplayer PvE things, aren't my bag. If there isn't any exploring to do, then I get bored. So, whatever. I can't wait for the next story mission to drop. I think it's next month.
Well, there's some gaming for you. It'd be better if I was more organized about it, but that takes time, and I'm not exactly fillin' bank doin' this. I do my best.
