Final Fantasy IX is probably my favorite game of all time. I have played through it about three or four times. It is truly great.

All three of these games I played today have one thing in common, nostalgia. Nostalgia for the old west, for 2D platformers with shooting elements and turn-based rpgs with elaborate stories. All the while I am watching my friend Mark play Farm Together, a game like Animal Crossing that I might pick up myself soon.
Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood:
I played some more side missions and crew challenges in this today. I've picked up some new weapons and a shield that I like a lot. I'm mostly using a pistol with fire element damage but occasionally a smg with corrosive. I also use corrosive with my grenades. They seem to work great in most circumstances. Some enemies explode with shock damage though. I'm not sure why but you can see the halo around them so you can avoid them when they go down. I am going for 100% in this DLC. I'm only at 50% right now.
Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight
I played this for rewards points. I got the amount of currency needed for the rewards but kept playing because it seemed cool. Then I started dying a lot, so I stopped. The metroidvania thing is not my cup of tea generally. Seems good though.
Final Fantasy IX
I played it for rewards points but went way beyond what was required because I'm really digging it. I like these Active Time Events where you get to see what's going on with other characters briefly while you are doing your thing with the character under your control. It's also neat the way battles just spring up where you think only story scenes are happening. I'm totally getting into it.
