Borderlands Farm: Neon Elder Battletoads

This is about the waning years of the Battletoads as they sit in their rockers on the porch of their farmhouse reminiscing. Each of them remembers differently, so the object of the game is to push your own memory as the true one. You do this via a casual card battle game like Magic the Gathering. After Rash, Pimple and Zit talk and come to a disagreement, the card battle game begins, and the winner moves the conversation their way. There are multiple endings that encourage replay. It's a short game. I won as Pimple and got the "Brutal Fist" ending. I won't spoil what that meant. I would've replayed the game, but the card battle system was a little too simple, and I moved on to the following five games.

Borderlands 3: Krieg DLC: I won the game by not even finishing it half way. That's because my friend was way ahead of me and was having some difficulty with the final boss. So I joined in and got rewarded for finishing the DLC when we beat it. I went back to my own playthrough but got frustrated with the jerkiness of the gameplay. AI enemies deek and dodge about like crazy, over-caffeinated freaks, and it frankly made me think I was begining to get dizzy. I'll probably return to try and finish it later though.

Farm Together: I'm just trying to the get the special challenge done for an achievement and extra in-game items. I don't know if I'll be able to do it, but I only have two more things to unlock. I got to grow a lot of crops to do it.

Neon Abyss: I played this a bunch trying to get two more achievements for rewards points. I tried to get the achievement for blowing yourself up with your own grenade, but the grenade didn't do a lot of damage, so I needed to have just a sliver of health left. I upped the difficulty to maximum to see if that would help. It didn't, but I found I liked the game better that way; every room's battle was a fight-for-your-life momen -  no new achievements though.

Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited: I had to play this for an hour for rewards points. I did several quests and quite liked it. I was a sorcerer but used a sword as well. I might play it some more sometime.

Battletoads:  I was trying to get a couple more achievements for rewards points. I got stuck on a electric circuit puzzle from my last save, so I restarted and put it on the hardest difficulty just for fun. Battles are long and tough, but I found I liked it that way. Your toads tap in frequently as one gets knocked down, which is fun because I got to see all their special moves. I'm trying to get all the collectibles also. I'll see how far I can get on that difficulty.

What did you play on Monday?

Jeez. How hard it is to blow yourself up with a grenade? Tongue Out

In this game it's hard. The other problem was that you rarely got one. If I had two on a particular run, I was lucky.

Have you ever played any of the other Battletoads games?  LIke the one on the NES?  is it as hard as that one?  I always enjoyed the Battletoads arcade game, what little I've played of it.

I played one of them in the Rare Replay collection. Maybe that was the NES one? Oh yeah, there is the arcade version there too, I just remembered. So I've played them both. I think they are both harder than the new one. Maybe because the controls are better in the new one.
