Played some stuff.
Ni No Kuni II: I defeated the boss outside Pugnatious' village.
Kona: An story-based adventure game, call it a walking sim with detective work. I got to the first cabin in the snowy woods, built a fire and everything but then couldn't figure out how to get my car out of the ditch. I had a chain, but nothing to tow it with. I had gotten the rewards points already, so I stopped.
Doom Eternal: I started over and got pretty far it in. I managed all the platforming bits this time with minimal frustration. I think it's very fun.
Farm Together: Still building my farm. I play until I run out of money and then leave it. I'll return another day when the crops are ready.
Mecho Wars: Decided I'd had enough of perfect playing AI. Battles can get long and tedious after a while too. I think I just like deploying forces. I don't enjoy the strategic elements that much. It's just a numbers game anyway. Boring.
Knights of Pen & Paper: I battled a few rounds of enemies but kind of felt lost as to what the main quest was supposed to be. So I battled the maximum foes to see if I could win. I didn't. Party wipe. Fine. I'm moving on.
Wargroove: I really love the graphics in this turn-based fantasy tactical game ala Advance Wars. AI is ferocious though. I just want to deploy units. Maybe a transportation sim is more appropriate for me right now.
That's the last few days. I'm trying to simplify my game/life right now. Get to playing old physical games and selling them off. Get focused. I tend to overcomplicate things.
What have y'all been playing?
