Ta ta ta ta-day, junia!
Bowling online sounds fun.

...was a pretty good game day. I finished a few games and got really into another. Here's the breakdown.
Super Paper Mario: I finished chapter one and went deep into chapter two before I kind of lost interest enough to stop. The boss fight with the dragon whose name is similar to the word "fractal" was pretty cool. You have to switch to 3D to avoid his attack, jump on his back, fight off his parasitic critters, and use them to beat on his glowing antenna that is his power source. Cool! Later on, though, I died rather carelessly and decided to stop. I'm not sure why, but maybe I was tired of jumping around a lot like in a traditional platformer, which this is not, but which feels like one from time to time. I got another Wii game I can't wait to try out next time anyway.
Farm Together: I bought my 15th and last allowed farmhand. I gave up my self imposed limitation of 50 of every type of plant and animal and instead started removing those not needed for quests with those needed for quests. I'll see how this works in the long run, but I should still be able to keep the "chedda" coming in. If not, I've planted a huge amount of fields to harvest when I get cash poor. Now to figure out whether to make a cheesecake or tiramisu in order to get tickets to pay the farmhands.
Gears 5: Hivebusters DLC: I finished the story DLC. It was very entertaining. That over-the-shoulder way of shooting and snapping into cover developed from the very first game in the series works so delightfully well. I think putting the game on easy difficulty was a little too easy though. The character I used named Mac is probably Scottish and not Irish, but I'm not 100% sure. He sounds exactly like Pippin and Merry in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings. Anyone know?
PBA Pro Bowling: My friend and I got into online tournaments and quickly got obsessed with the game. We tried to play against each other directly, but we have two different versions of the game. His is labeled 2021 and mine is just plain PBA Pro Bowling. His has a menu option to create an online match and mine doesn't. So my friend kindly gifted me a copy of PBA Pro Bowling 2021 and tomorrow we'll play head-to-head. Should be fun. I'm getting better, using two balls now, and have scored 235 in one game. I'm still having trouble beating the pro in one of the career tournaments. You have to consistently hit 200 to keep up in a three-game series. That's not leaving any open frames and getting probably 50% strikes or better. The game's controls are great because they are simple to learn but tricky to master. The mechanics are great because you can tell when a lane has a different wax pattern by the way the ball hooks. It's something to adjust to if you're at a new venue. I'm diggin' it.
Oh, a day again. How about another.
That's awesome your friend gifted you a copy so you both can play online. Man reading your past two entried have me itching to buy a bowling game. I'm pretty sure I own one on one of the older consoles so I might just play a game or two on that just so I don't spend real money.
