Every time I go to put Horizon: Zero Dawn on story, I just ... can't do it. The challenge is too much of the appeal to me.
But as not at all far into Witcher III as I am, I think I can start from there. Maybe.

I ran through my routine and again I got bogged down in Farm Together. I am making good progress though, so I think I have the end in sight. When it's done I can knock that off my list so I get more time with my main game. Anyway, here's a breakdown of the day's activities.
Sakura Wars, So Long My Love: I won the court case even without getting every bit of evidence from the questioning the day before. It felt like I couldn't fail it. But, winning it launched me towards a new battle with a new foe and her robots, so next time it will be battle time.
FIFA 20: Starting this game puts you immediately in a match of street football (soccer). It's like box lacrosse or hockey because you are in a small walled-in arena and play 3 on 3. I actually like this better than the usual soccer on a giant field with a lot of players. All I needed for the rewards points was one goal and I got it. I kept playing until the end of the match and then stopped. I'm just not that into soccer.
Witcher 3: I was very happy to restart this for rewards points. This game has the most natural-looking environments I've ever seen in a game. I put the difficulty on "story" and when I got into my first fistfight, I entranced one with a spell and knocked the other two out with one punch each. That's just as it should be. I'm a witcher and they were average soldiers. Then I fought several packs of wolves on the way to seeing the town guard and saved it when I got to the guard tower since I had the rewards points. I'm putting this on my external drive because I really should spend more time with it later.
Farm Together: Oh, got stuck in this for a good long time; more than I wanted to. I discovered that I can harvest quite a few diamonds fairly quickly with crops like Tumeric and open a new plot of land every time I play it. The trouble is, I feel I have to fill up all my empty fields before I leave the game so they will be harvestable next time I log in. I ended this session by building a short railway around my main town. I just wish the railway had more uses than just sightseeing.
Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy: I finished episode V (Empire Strikes Back). It's quite fun to see the whole movie done shot for shot with lego. Just episode VI (Return of the Jedi) to go and then I decide if I'm replaying to collect everything. I probably will.
Dragon Quest XI: I got some quality time with this finally today. I got my wings so to speak. I also had a battle with a dragon that forced me to intervene and change tactics. I usually jump in to activate Pep Powers but I also made some characters use MP potions and even swapped out one character that got knocked down instead of waiting for another character to cast Zing and raise him like I usually do. I didn't think that characters use items when assigned a tactic but I noticed one did today. It seems a rare thing though. I'm still interested in this game at 73 hours of playtime although cutscenes seem really slow-paced and the dialog sometimes repetitive. I kind of want the story to come to a conclusion now and just focus on tougher battles.
Yah, another day. Not tomorrow though. Valentines.
