I wouldn't last long in Battlefield 1 either, but it sure looks purdy.
Game Day 2609

I figure that number reflects my 25 years worth of gaming since 1995. I've mastered this pastime twice over if you believe in the 10k hours to master a craft idea. Anyway, this is what I did this 2609th day of gaming.
Battlefield 1: I attempted to get a best squad accolade in multiplayer for a rewards quest. This game looks so amazing but I was clearly out of my league. I got shot dead in less than a minute every time. I played a few rounds, didn't get the reward, and called it a day. I'm already at 6k points anyway. I don't need to do every single quest.
Farm Together: Extended my train lines. Bought a new area of land. Harvested a lot of diamond fruiting plants. Paid my farmhands with pizza, muffins, tiramisu, and sushi.
Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures: Nearly finished the first movie's worth of levels. I had to restart a level twice, once because I forgot my shovel and a second time because I froze the game by lowering a weight from a crane in a place where it got stuck. It was fun to explore the university where Indy teaches. It forms the hub of the game.
Dragon Quest XI: I got fed up with the maze-filled castles in the Tickington 2D side missions. I returned to the 3D world and started a new time-traveling quest. There are always more surprises in this game. I am still slightly annoyed at its slow pace. Why does what is essentially a time lord have to talk so darn slowly? I went and made lunch while it talked.
Anticipating finishing DQXI sometime soon, I downloaded the Immortals Fenyx Rising (action-adventure) demo and Star Renegades (RPG roguelike) from GamePass and purchased Serious Sam Collection.
