Chievo Chasin' Casual Hell

Microsoft Rewards wanted three achievements from me so I dove into my casual stuff to get them. I only got two achievements because I'm somewhat far along in the games I played today which means achievements take longer to get. As I get to the last few achievements in a casual game, I just play it for a short time to make some progress and move along. Today, I got really into Lego Batman and never did get to my Game Pass stuff or my main game, Torchlight III. Sometime later this weekend I'll get to them I suppose. So here's a breakdown.

Farm Together: Just harvested about 15k diamonds, halfway to my next land costing 30k. 14 left. I thought today it would be great if this game had some tractor racing. Maybe I'll make a track and anyone who visits can take me on.

Gnome's Garden: A New Home: The remaining achievements are a little difficult and time-consuming so I'm just doing a few levels at a time. I got an end-game credit scroll today but haven't finished all the levels. I think I missed something in the occasional story screen that pops up. Sometimes I read them quickly and don't know what I just read. That's the thing with games sometimes, the gameplay is everything and the story is fluff to be ignored most of the time.

Pinball FX3: I bought one of the Williams table packs and played the Circus Voltaire table across a few different modes like competition, tournament and single-player challenge. I didn't get an achievement but when I do it's largely by accident. It's difficult to get the ultimate combo on any particular table. I also played the No Good Gofer's table. It's a classic golf-themed table.

Lego Batman: I'm back on my lego game playthroughs and returned to Lego Batman largely because I noticed in the store that I already own it through Games with Gold, only I don't remember it showing up in my owned library before today. The last time I looked in the store it told me it cost $20 so I rented it from the library. There was a massive update to the dashboard today so maybe a few glitches were fixed like the store recognizing games you already own through Games with Gold.

I downloaded it again and started playing. I finished episode 1, a villain episode and part of episode 3. I got two of my three needed achievements along the way. The game is pretty good only that sometimes the levels confuse me. I actually had to stop a level in episode 3 because I think I missed a clothing change for Robin along the way that made it impossible to progress. That something like that is possible seems to me a design flaw, but I'm enjoying it.

That's a day of casual game hell. Tomorrow I might rise to the purgatory of Game Pass games and maybe even get into the heaven of first choice game.

I'm not crazy about LEGO games. I've tried a couple. I would like to try the Batman in space game though.

They come close to boring me at times but the puzzles are intricate enough to keep me interested. I also like that I can have a chance at 100%ing these games in a reasonable amount of time. What chance do I have of completing Witcher III? Like nil unless I devote myself to it for a whole season or two.

Cirqus Voltaire is my favorite pinball table in real life, so I'm glad they put it on Pinball FX3.

I like shooting at the ringmaster. I was wondering if the real table has him balance the ball on his head like he does in the Pinball FX3 version.

Turn off the effects in the option screen and see if he still does it.

I'll try that. I noticed a lot of different things when using Tournament mode as well.

Pinball is one of those games you don't think about playing but when you do you just have loads of fun. One of the tables I always liked playing was funny enough a Playboy Table. I don't remember much about it but I always had good luck playing on it at the local arcades.

I know I must've played some pinball back in the day but I can't think of which ones I played.
