I am going through my installed games list on Xbox One from smallest file size to largest, uninstalling ones that I finish or just get tired of. I also added a few by buying them on a sale.

Mahjong Adventure DX (Fantastico Studio) - The last two games in the first set just kept ending with "no more moves". I need at least a bronze medal in each to move on. It doesn't seem like I have much strategic choice in these rounds. It's just luck, or bad luck, when you run out of moves. I'd had enough of this and uninstalled it.

Lost Artifacts: Soulstone (8floor Games) - Archeology-themed casual resource management sim by the devs who do Gnome's Garden. I'm doing quite well at this one with many 3 star levels played. Each overworld map is divided into sections. I do one section each gaming session. Maybe that's 10 or 12 levels.

Mass Effect 3 (EA) - Unfortunately, I just booted it to get a Game Pass quest reward but I really wanted to play it some. I am keeping it installed though to play through later.

Assault on Metaltron (Forever Entertainment) - A tower defense game exactly styled after Pixeljunk Monsters even down to the dancing on a tower to level it and the music is remarkably similar (graphically it's SciFi) I'm not complaining though since Pixlejunk Monsters is a Playstation exclusive. But I ran through a dozen or more levels trying to get perfect scores and failed. I need two more to advance to the next set of maps. I played this one level and kept losing a single energy crystal in the first wave. You can only afford two towers in the first wave. No matter where I put them an enemy would get through. I'd just had enough and uninstalled the game. I immediately went to my wish list though and bought another tower defense game I knew was on sale. It's on this list below.

Zuma's Revenge! (PopCap Games) - What a great Zuma game this is. I progressed more on adventure mode until I unlocked the weekly challenges. I tried and failed on it but I did well in adventure mode until I got to a level where you can switch your frog to two positions on the map. I couldn't figure out how to do it though and kept losing. I stopped for now but it's staying installed.

Gnome's Garden Lost Kingdom (8floor Games) - The latest (I think) in the Gnome's Garden casual resource management game. There are a few new elements added but it's basically very much the same as the others. The graphics are a bit different: shinier and more detailed. I actually wore my glasses because something about the design made me unsure which building was which. I did very well in the first set of levels (up until 25 or so). I think I might be able to get 3 stars on every level in this one (maybe?).

Farm Together (Milkstone Studios) - Opened another land area. 7 remain to complete the achievements.

Another World 20th Anniversary Edition (The Digital Lounge) - Always wanted to play this and it was on sale, so I bought it. I didn't get past the third screen. You have to jump these black worms that sting you to death. The figure jumps just a little bit and there's not enough room to get between all three worms on the screen. I don't get it. I failed and failed again until I uninstalled it.

Royal Tower Defense (Prison Games) - My replacement for Assault on Metaltron. This is a medieval-style tower defense game with an interesting mechanic. You can build barracks that release soldiers to fight on the roads. They slow down the enemies so your towers can take them down quicker. I played several levels before I lost one. It was a good time to take a break and play something else.

Minecraft (Microsoft Studios) - I started a survival map to try and find goats and bees for the last two achievements. I found a town and settled down, dug a mine shaft, and gathered materials to craft a diamond sword and full iron body armor. I didn't quite get all the parts done before the day was over. I saved the game and stopped. The next thing I'll do is venture out as a warrior into the surrounding area and fight mobs and search for those goats and bees. I figure I'll keep this same map for a while and do a little bit every game session and see what happens. It's very likely that I could find nothing at all and have to reroll and new world. That's Minecraft for you.

In related news, I read comic issue one of The Witcher: Witch's Lament this week. Geralt is tasked with bringing back a local lord's daughter from a coven of witches but, as usual, things get complicated. I really enjoy the Witcher comics. They're dark and explore some complex moral issues.

I never got into tower defense games.  Although I did play one based on the Regular Show cartoon but it was like a reverse tower defense game for iPad.  Only one I've ever beaten.

My first one was on PC at Kongregate called Pencil Tower Defense or something like that. Then Pixeljunk Monsters and Defense Grid and now I'll play any tower defense game.
