I really enjoyed the first Psychonauts, but while I like puzzles, I don't always have the patience for them. Also, I only played it a couple years ago, on a crappy pc, so the graphics were looking a little rough.
Last Week's Gaming (10/9-10)

I guess my playing breaks down into two parts. One is stuff I play for rewards points and two is stuff I play for my own interests. So I'll group these that way.
The rewards points plays:
Overcooked 2: Speedy cooking. Why would anyone make kitchens like in this game with everything far from everything else: cutting, cooking, assembly and cleaning stations each in far corners of a room from each other. It makes for a game, but is totally a crazy way to structure a real kitchen. Fun game. I had to burn stuff for the rewards points but I tried not to in order to get as far as possible. I eventually stopped trying though because time limits drive me crazy after a while.
Psychonauts 2: I was happy to return to it, but when I did, I couldn't figure out where to go or where anyplace was. I brute-forced my way through a few areas and made some progress but then I lost track of where in the mind/world to go for the next part of the story. This happens when you leave a game in the middle for a few weeks. I only had to boot the game for the rewards points anyway. I may have to restart it from the beginning next time.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2: Rewards points were for vanquishing a number of either plants or zombies so I played multiplayer for a while. Pretty fun really, but I got killed a lot so it took a little while to get kills myself.
Outlast 2: You are a camera man with a woman reporter in a helicopter going to investigate a disappearance in the wilderness. The helicopter crashes and you find yourself caught up in a town full of murderous cultists. I had to die a bunch of times for rewards points but I tried not to and get as far as I could. I got pretty far. One cool mechanic in the game is your digital film camera which you use to see in infrared at night and record scenes that piece together the mystery little by little. You pick up new batteries to keep it going here and there. Eventually, I found myself trying to sneak past a supernaturally strong female witch of sorts. I managed it eventually by hiding in barrels and such but sometime soon after I stopped, but I forget exactly why. Probably got tired of the sneakin' around.
Resident Evil 7: I did not want to get to the heinous battle with the father of the crazy family again like last time, even though it was kind of thrilling. It was just too brutal and difficult. Luckily I just had to pick up several items for my inventory for the rewards points. I didn't even get to the part where (spoiler alert) your girlfriend attacks you.
We Happy Few: Again I played the campaign a long while and got frustrated with it. I had to get several kills but apparently, most of my put-downs were just knockouts. I had only one after a good long while. So I stopped and played one of the action modes instead and got it in like a couple of minutes. This game seems so good at first but then I'm always having to sneak around a lot, which I don't like. I just played a cop in this special mode and knocked a few heads in for the points and was done with it.
Peggle 2: I've been returning to this regularly to grab an achievement when I need one for rewards points. I have a handful of things to do in this yet, so I did one of them. I forget which.
Those played for my own interest:
Undertale: I got to what I think is the very final boss, Asgore (I think), and got beat the first time. I figured out how to get around in the game and go buy more items, but by this time I was pretty much out of cash and didn't feel like grinding for more. Ah well, maybe I'll take another run at the whole game from the beginning again sometime. It's not very long.
Minecraft: The new thing last week was building a place where you can keep all the villagers safe from mobs. My friend and I moved the town bell (where the villagers trade with each other) into the very large house and even enclosed a farm in one section surrounded with glass to let the light in. You need the farmers to trade food with the other villagers so they will procreate. Thus the farm and bell in the house. We had a large crew working all sorts of special jobs which we could trade with for better stuff instead of making it ourselves. It's so difficult to keep these villagers alive for long in this game unless you trap them all like this. Mobs get in everywhere and turn them to zombies when you aren't looking. But I think we've solved this problem this time.
The Procession to Calvalry: A new addition to Game Pass I thought I'd try. It uses as source material loads of Renaissance paintings. All the characters look like cutouts from the paintings and are animated a lot like Terry Gilliam's work for Monty Python. It's a kind of puzzle game. You talk to people and figure out what they want and then go find or do things for them. The dialog is very funny. Eventually, I got to this puzzle I got stumped on. I had to perform at a talent contest. I got the sheet music for the song and the dress to wear but couldn't figure out how to make myself smell like fish. Yeah, all the puzzles are jokes of some sort. I hate getting really, solidly stumped in a puzzle game. I stopped for now.
Next up what I played this weekend.
