New Plans Again

Well, my new job fell through and now I'm up a creek without a paddle. Nothing new here really. So during these times between jobs, I find myself drawn to simple games. I somehow can't get into a long story or deep gameplay at times like this. So here are the few things I played on Thanksgiving day and Sunday.
Disneyland Adventures:
Played this again for rewards points. I've previously finished this game to 92% completion. I just started over until I hit 50K coins and got the rewards points. After this and a streak of daily sets of challenges on bing, I am at 9800 or so points for the month. With two more days of daily sets, I might just make it to 10k.
Kingdom Two Crowns:
I'm still playing this alongside my friend. I finally started groking the goals in this game. You build up an island as far as you can, then build a ship to visit other islands where you can find different resources and gems. Then you can come back to the earlier island and build it up further, ultimately leading your little kingdoms to defeat the portals that send badies to ruin your villages.
I discovered that farms are a rich source of coinage. I had so much coin, I ran out of things to build. I had to leave the island to find another with a stone mine so I could keep building. Interesting game. I think I'm beginning to handle it.
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords
This first game in the series is still my favorite. My friend has unlocked almost everything in the game, but I am still far behind. I don't mind. I started a new female druid (shown above) and set the game to hard difficulty. I got to level 10 or so before getting beat by a rat or something. The match-three gameplay is perfect to play in between plays of the football game I was watching. Eagles lose, again.
Lego Harry Potter:
I finished year two and started playing the bonus levels and building tutorials. The bonus levels are little puzzles. Eventually, I got to ones that require a certain character that can open doors with magic. I forget who did that in the movie, and so I don't know which character it is, and the game really doesn't help you with that. I think it's Dumbledore but I haven't unlocked him yet. This is a good Lego game though. I'm enjoying it under the intense stress of the moment.
Well, that's all. I'm purging my collection of just about everything except my PS4 and Xbox One. I may have to move by summertime, and I can't carry all this stuff around with me anymore - back issues.
