...and I'm thinking about the first decade of the 2000s, 2000-2009. Here's a list of games I want to focus on this month when I'm not chasing rewards points or some new release.
Mostly I've tried to stick to what I can play on my Xbox One right now because I'm not sure I want to set up retro systems right now. Maybe another time though because there are a lot of Nintendo and Sony exclusives I'd like to play.
- Spyro Year of the Dragon (this third game on The Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which I have)
- Silent Hill 2 (On Silent Hill HD Collection I believe. A X360 game that's backward compatible, and available digitally, in the Xbox One store. I have the 360 version).
- Commandos 2: Men of Courage (This, if I saw rightly, has been remastered and been made available digitally on Xbox One. It's a strategy war game I've always wanted to play)
- Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (Back-compat and digitally available on Xbox One. I never finished it.)
- Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II (back-compat for sure and maybe digitally available? I've never played it.)
- Oddworld Stranger's Wrath (I know it's back compact but it may be digitally available as well. I just traded in a bunch of games, so I may not have it now physically. I hope it's in the store. I've never finished it.)
- Gears of War (I feel oddly attracted to the idea of seeing what achievements I haven't got in this and getting them).
- Crysis (I've always wanted to play this series. The games are always on sale on the Xbox store. Maybe I've already bought it?)
- Culdcept Saga (always can't resist not replaying this when I see it in a list even though the AI drives me crazy with their cheating ways)
- Trine (I have the trilogy of Trine games in a collection I got a year or so ago on a sale. I know these puzzle/adventure titles frustrate me, but these games are so gorgeous to look at. I'll cry as I stare in awe at the graphics. How's that for two emotions at once?)
