But first, a video game print ad from a comic released just this month, Strange #3. It's really Doctor Strange #3 but now Clea is the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth, and she's not a doctor like Stephen. The ad is for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. You don't see vg print ads much these days.

lswss

We Happy Few: Played yet again for Game Pass rewards points. I've learned now to play arcade mode to do this quickly. I'm not over fond of the stealth sections of the game in campaign.

What Remains of Edith Finch: Probably the third or fourth time I've played it for Game Pass rewards points. The first time I completed everything in the game. Now I just play until I become an owl and eat a rabbit, which is like very early in the game.

To The Moon and Beyond: This is a new free game from NASA. Remember that Kinect Mars Rover free game from probably a decade ago? I played that too. This new one is more like a card-based-strategy-simulation game. You have a budget and have to pick research projects in order to build or improve several pieces of NASA hardware within a time limit. Random events occur to impact your budget along the way. It's neat, and I lost on my first try. You have to max out all your projects within the time limit to win. What's mainly interesting is reading the card descriptions that tell you about projects on the ISS and at NASA, which I think is the whole point of the game. That is, to inform you about the valuable science being done and the possible technological breakthroughs and benefits to good old planet Earth. I don't mind a little NASA promotion since I'm already a fan.

Minecraft: Mark and I played this a very long time on the 9th. We got very close to riding a Strider for an achievement but couldn't find a saddle to finish it. The Strider is a weird creature that walks on lava lakes in the underworld. I lured several up to the overworld with a mushroom on a stick but we needed that saddle. There are numerous ways to get a saddle but none of them are easy. It appears randomly in many different locations. The other way is to trade for one, but you have to trade a lot with a leatherworker, which is almost as difficult. We mostly focused on finding one in a chest or through fishing. Usually one is found in a Netherworld Fortress but we couldn't find it. Sometimes it spawns far from the portal making it almost impossible to get to. Ah, well, it was fun, and we'll try again next week, no doubt.

Pac-Man Museum +: I'm using the achievement list as a guide. I opened 25 gashapon capsules to get action figures. I have to do 100 eventually for an achievement. I placed as many cosmetic items as I had in my personalized arcade but most of the achievements are for placing items you earn from completing objectives in the games, which I haven't done yet. So I started playing more of the 14 games to see what I could unlock. I played Pac-Man of course, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal (your "Pal" tries to steal your fruits for some reason), Pac-Land (I got farther this time on the platforming section), Pac-Mania, Pac-Man Arrangement and Pac-Man Battle Royale (I really like this only I wish I had people to play with. This game doesn't have online play only local. Boo!). I would have gone through the rest of the games, but I unlocked an achievement when a new "visitor" entered the arcade. It was triggered by either time played or coins earned, I'm not sure. But that was a good enough reason to stop for the day.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes: I just got in a few battles before I had to stop for the day, but I really enjoyed it. I'm going for an achievement where I overkill an enemy by 100 points. This will probably not happen until late the game when I am leveled up, but I'm working on strategy. You can create links between or combine attack groups that can increase damage on a strike. The other two achievements are for multiplayer which I'll try once I get accustomed to the basic gameplay.

Well, that was a big game day. I even got an invite to play Gears Judgment co-op with someone I played with last week, but it came at the end of the day, and I couldn't accept. I'm excited to get more involved in multiplayer gaming. I'll have to make it a priority next time.

I'm going to get that new LEGO Star Wars game eventually.  Probably going to ask for it for my birthday.

You get more visitors in your arcade when you complete more missions.  I have 7 visitors.  All four ghosts, Professor Pac, Pac-Buddy (the dog) and Pac-Mom.  Be sure to look out for my blog about the game in a few days!

I just put Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga on hold at my library, the Switch version. I'll play it there until I can get it on Xbox.

I think I have four so far. I don't know how I'm going to make much progress in most of the games with that lag problem. At least I can play Pac-Land and that platformer Pac-In-Time without any problems.
