Here are some screen shots of the last three games I played. Following this, I'll run through how I changed up my list of games on my Xbox hard drive. 

This is my friend Mark riding the Strider for the "Feels Like Home" achievement while I wait my turn holding my warped fungi fishing rod. I finally found the spot where lava lakes form in the overworld. It's at block -54. This was the first really large lava lake I found since I returned to the game a couple of weeks ago. This Minecraft world is so much bigger now!

This weird glitch of a zombie overlapping a villager in a boat with a duck/chicken came about as Mark and I figured out a new strategy to get a music disc for the "Sound of Music" achievement. One way to get a music disc is to get a skeleton to shoot a creeper which then drops the disc. To do this we needed to trap the ever moving creeper, so we filled a field with boats and led a creeper through them. The creeper inevitably steps into one and gets stuck. Then we trapped a skeleton the same way and lined the two up. Wala, we both got music discs. We thought this was the hard part but that was finding a meadow biome. We both roamed far and wide trying every field of flowers that we saw. Eventually I found the spot but, for the life of me, I don't see how it was different from the other places I tried. However, it was a happy day that we managed to clear two new Minecraft achievements. 

We began the "Birthday Song" achievement but time ran out on the day. This is for getting the Alloy, a beast that looks like a lightning bug, to drop a cake on a note block. Weird challenge but we it isn't too difficult. We found Alloys in the Mansion prison of all places. Next time we will make the cakes (you need two) and a note block and get this done. 

Another one we looked at was the "With Our Powers Combined" achievement. This is very tricky. You have to find all three of the new frog types and take them to the Nether where they will gobble down Magma slimes and drop special light blocks. The tough part is going to be getting them near the Magma in the Nether. Sometimes Magma are nowhere to be seen when we enter the Nether on a map. But, this will be a fun challenge to go after next week. 

This is was a moment my team took out the enemy in one move. It wasn't even my regular team. Sometimes, a quest has you build a totally new team from you troops. I find this annoying but it is also interesting because you are forced to come up with new tactics quickly. I didn't play Gems of War much this day because I have to wait a week for the new campaign quests I cleared earlier in the week. 

Now for the new set of games I put on my Xbox Series S hard drive. It covers games I have access to that I want to play back through December of 2021 (next time I'll take a "picture of silly" - I mean, screen shot):

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep

Forza Horizon 5

I removed everything else except for the following:

Minecraft
Gems of War
Super Mega Baseball 3

I'm mostly pleased with this new set. There are still lots of games I'd like to play that came out recently that I don't have access to yet because of price or a system I don't have. Then there are retro titles, stuff that recently popped up on Game Pass I'd like to try, etc... There's never a dull moment in gaming these days, that's for sure.
