I played a lot of this Greek Mythology action game last month. Puzzle elements eventually wore me out, but I enjoyed everything else.

What I enjoyed most was the exploration and fighting. You have a large world to explore and it's chock full of things to collect, challenges to complete, puzzles to solve and foes to defeat. It's a third-person brawler that gives you many weapons to chose from. You have your basic sword and axe attacks, bow-and-arrow and a force-like ability that lets you pick up rocks and throw them. Add to this special powered up abilities that you gain over the course of the story, and you can tackle enemies any way you can imagine. The fighting feels a lot like God of War or Heavenly Sword (if you remember that one).

Across the world are various challenges like traversal races (which I found difficult and so skipped them), a musical memory game (find the elements to a melody on small harps and play them together on the large harp, when you find it), and environmental puzzles that has you sling arrows at targets to open doors or move rocks onto pressure pads to trigger various gates that ultimately reveal an item. Also, there are these rifts in the ground that you jump into which take you to a skylands of sorts where you either fight a boss or figure out an elaborate puzzle/platform challenge. These are key to the main story. I beat so many of them, but eventually I got to a puzzle challenge so tricky that I stopped playing. I really dislike repeating puzzle/platform events because I missed a jump by a pixel or timed it a half a mllisecond off. I mostly just wanted to fight and find, my two favorite gameplay elements.

Additionally, you can customize your character and upgrade every aspect of your abilities with collectibles, tame and ride animals for faster traversal, and glide using the wings you acquire early in the story.

The developer is the same as that on Assassin's Creed Odyssey, a game I liked to an extent but not as much as this one.

This is one of those games that I'm kind of curious about, but probably won't have time to play it anytime soon.  Can't play 'em all!

I keep telling myself that, but I keep trying.
