I grabbed all the rest of the Outlaw Nation comics in the bargain bin to see what other game ads might be found. There were a good number of them. Here are the 1-pagers.

Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising was a 2001 PC strategy game with vehicles. Also a rather sexist ad for Worms: World Party for Dreamcast. For shame Sega. 

That prize PC package looks very much like my first PC that I got from Dell Computers in 2000. I even got a similar camera with it. Ah and Gamepro Mag. I followed several of the writers as they transitioned to OXM and podcasting later on. Notice all three 2001 consoles and a GBA in the ad. The Xbox even has the launch "Duke" controllers. 

Lots of Twisted Metal Black and Dark Age of Camelot ads in these comics.

This is the first board game ad I've seen and a funny one for Risk. My favorite, though, is the Dragon Warrior VII ad. I just saw that DW I-VII is now available on the Switch e-store as a bundle or individual games. FINALLY!

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. I don't think I've ever played it. Vampire Night was a 2001 arcade and PS2 game. It uses a light gun and the House of the Dead engine. So, it's a House of the Dead clone then?

Another favorite, Silent Hill 2. I have several versions of the game but still haven't played it. It's high on my list of next plays. Max Payne again but with different art.
