I'm writing my review of Little Kitty, Big City right now!
Another Week of the Gaming Grind

It's been an interesting week trying to work down the metacritic list for '95-'99, grinding for Game Pass Rewards points and beating Diablo IV. Details follow.
Xbox 360 revisit and purchases:
The online shop for 360 is closing on the last day of July, and so I looked up anything I might get before that happens. 4 games, $5 each: Alien Breed 1, 2 and 3 (isometric shooter based on the original arcade game), Guardian Heroes (classic beat-em-up originally on Sega Saturn) and a few free themes. I have another 5 games or so on watch for a sale that might happen soon such as Bionic Commando Rearmed (a game not available digitally anywhere else right now).
Metacritic List progress:
Soulcalibur - only option now is the Dreamcast original. The Xbox 360 digital version has been delisted.
Tekken 3 - I saw it today at Game Junkies but they wanted $30. They also had Tekken 5 (which containes the arcade version of 3) but wanted $30 for that as well. Nah. $20 or less, I'd say is my price. I don't even enjoy fighting games most of the time.
Half Life, Gran Turismo 1-2, Metal Gear Solid, Wipeout XL, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. I looked for all of these on disc at Game Junkies but found none of them. Can go digital with Metal Gear but the rest are going to be difficult. I still have Game & DVD Exchange to check though.
Diablo - I got the Diablo III Xbox 360 disc at Game Junkies for $10. I'm hoping the free OG Diablo content will install when I pop in the disc. But if not, I can get the PS4 version cheaply and, in any case, I might be tempted to run the game all over again for the fresh achievements (I played this on Xbox One).
Age of Empires II - is installed on my Xbox now. Just need time to get to it.
Plays
Lego 2K Drive - I played a few races and challenges for a daily Game Pass reward. I really like it. Open world, destructable everything, good controls, what's not to like.
Little Kitty, Big City - Game Pass game I'm playing for rewards. So far so good being a cat and knocking things over, collecting shiny things for a crow and avoiding dogs. Third-person view.
Diablo IV: Hit level 100 and so did my friend Mad Krammer. The new seasonal content changed how equipment modifications work pretty drastically. I think it's pretty good changes though. There's more ways to improve equipment now as well. Thing is, it seems like running The Pit Dungeons is the only way to get the materials to upgrade gear all the way. I'm not sure I want to do a lot of repetitive dungeon dives. To keep it interesting, I've been going through the in-game challenges and seeing what I can do there. I'm going to try and conjure the echo versions of all the level bosses next, I think, and beat them. Echo Lillith is the hardest though. MK and I tried it once and we just go one-hit killed over and over. It's the ultimate goal for an acheivement, but I'm not sure I'll get there. I'd rather play the other character types then bash my head in grinding for materials in The Pit.
Well, that's a week then. How was yours?
