For June I am playing from the top games of 04-06. It's been fun so far.
Halo 2: I finished it on Easy and most of it on Normal until I couldn't stand it anymore (need co-op partner for higher difficulty levels). Now I'm hunting the remaining Terminals and fufilling some daily objectives just for fun and achievements. I noticed the button for switching from old Halo 2 to remastered Halo 2. What a huge difference! They redid just about everything and added a lot of visuals. I also noticed there's a free 1 hr plus documentary for free in the store on the remaster. I may watch it.
Gears of War: Apparently I hadn't found all the Cog tags in the 360 version of the game, and so I left the Ultimate Edition. I've got two left in Act V somewhere. I really enjoying the replay.
Oblivion: I'm a Battlemage Nord. I'm following the main quest for the most part and got my first achievement in probably a decade. In previous plays I had often gotten side tracked by guild quests or other side quests until I got myself killed or hit a dead end. I'm really enjoying the revisit, and maybe this time I'll finish the main quest. I get this deep feeling of awe everytime I start playing it again. It really feels like a real world.
Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends: Installed this from Game Pass as a quick achievement game for my daily rewards points. It's pretty fun. You are a robot who's running a sushi restaurant. You can go to the market for new ingredients to level up your food, get decor to make the restuarant run better and earn more XP and cash, and go to the coffee shop and chat up the residents for other bonuses. The main activity though is serving the food to customers. It's a quick casual style game and I'm enjoying it for the most part. I dont' like the server part though because of time limits. Customers get impatient, and I know all that too well from the real life job I used to have.
Toodles.

DQVIII was a lot of fun. I remember Gamestop was running a lot of sales on PS2/Xbox stuff and I was picking up a lot of games, some of which I knew little about other than they were popular or had good reviews. DQVIII was one of them. I started playing and my friend did too, and we played it at the same time. He completed the darn thing while I burned out near the 100hour mark. I wish they'd bring out a remaster for consoles. I was not interested in the 3DS port. I loved seeing the world on a big screen.
