I kind of fell off the loop with the Ratchet and Clank series when the "Future" ones came out. It's because it took me a few years before I got a PS3. I have the first "Future" game, but I don't think I got around to playing it much.
Third Set of Retro Picks '07-'09

These are my picks from page 3 of Metacritic's best-of-all-time for '07-'09.
Demon's Souls: The cutscenes from this give me such chills of excitement to this day. I am, however, terrible at this game. I will always own the original and always try it again. I wish there was a PS3 Demon's Souls console skin. I'd buy it in an instant. I still have my PS3 physical copy. My first wanted game for PS5 is the remake/remaster. I'll have that system one of these days and get it.
Fable II: I've played this twice and the second time completed all the achievements. It was a blast. It's on Xbox Series X/S digitally. I dont' really feel the need for a physical copy for 360.
Dead Space: I got into the XSS remake a few months ago and really fell in love with it. Unlike the first time I played it on 360 where it frustrated me. I'd revisit it in a heartbeat for those achievements I haven't got yet.
Persona 3: I remember having Person 3 and 4 on PS2 years ago. I've dabbled in both but never finished either of them. It's on Xbox Series S now as Persona 3 Reload and on Game Pass. So I have immediate access to it.
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction: I've been digging around in local game shops for the R&C Future games but haven't found one yet. I've played these back in the day but I consider them essential PS3 games for my library. I may have to submit to online ordering or go farther afield to more distant game stores. Must have!
Peggle: I own this digitally on Xbox. I saw a physical copy bundled with other Live Arcade games for Xbox 360, which is nice, but I don't feel a strong need for that. I can play it anytime on Game Pass even if I didn't own it. Portable versions would be interesting though. I'll have to look into that.
Burnout Paradise - I never got deeply into this even though I'm a huge Burnout fan. I'm not sure why exactly but maybe the open world structure of it confused me a bit. I found myself getting lost in the city while racing regularly. Still, I own it digitally on Xbox and would give it yet another try. I want so much to like it.
Uncharted - Wow the first Uncharted game, a PS3 exclusive. I have this digitally for PS4 which came with my system along with the next two games in the series. It's just really good and worth a replay. I wonder if trophies were a thing when this came out. I think they started in '08?
The World Ends with You - I remember a game journalist I used to listen to on a podcast rave about this game. I ended up with a copy, but I've barely tried it more than a half-hour so far. Time for a deep dive. A version called Final Remix is on Switch right now too, but I have the DS cart.
And those are my picks from page 3. I probably wont get to these this month but I want to secure my access to them for when I do. I just have to get those Ratchet & Clank Future games.
