I had the opportunity to review Tchia when it came out. But it either didn't grab me as much or I had too much on my plate at the time.

Well, I finished Gears of War 3 and played several others partially. I'm happy with my new plan which seems to push me to finish some games. I managed to finish the Mass Effect Trilogy finally.
Bought
Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank Future Tools of Destruction, Resistance 3, all PS3 games and exclusive to the system. I'm glad to have them again as I feel they are essential for my PS3 collection.
Played
I finished my replay of Gears of War 3.
I played a whole lotta Halo Reach doing playlists within Master Chief Collection. These are 3-5 levels strung together that have a similar theme. I ended up replaying a lot of levels but that's okay. I played on Normal without much difficulty which sort of suprised me. I usually get in trouble somewhere in Halo games on the default setting.
Played a few hours of Bayonetta remastered. I got stuck at a wall that wanted a certain move out of me to pass and I couldn't figure it out. Boy this game is silly and fun. I can see the God Hand DNA in this too.
Tchia was played for a while. This is set on a real collection of islands off the coast of Australia. You sail from island to island and explore, collect and complete tasks to eventually rescue your father. The game in embedded with tons of local culture via music mini-games and other gameplay mechanics like embodying animals and fish (I liked being a shark for a while). I really enjoyed it even though I got my catamaran incredibly stuck on a post. It's kind of similar to Creatures of Ava in a lot of ways, another one I tried out on Game Pass.
On PS3
A hour or so in God of War III. Man, the set pieces in this game are so epic. Graphics are off the charts and the cinematic presentation is hard to compete with. You're fighting on the arms of Titans the screen can't even contain. Wonderful experience. I just wasn't in the chain-swinging mood to replay the whole game this time.
I played through to chapter 9 in Uncharted 3. It's really an amazing looking game even for being almost 15 years old now.
Touched on MLB 10 The Show but didn't like it much. Baseball is slow in a sim game like this. I much prefer cartoony Super Mega Baseball.
Onto 2013-2015 starting this Labor Day weekend. I can't wait.
