70s Gaming for Handhelds

This is my January 2025 goal, to sample games of the 70s. It was just console gen 1, but that is so limited, I thought I'd add a few years and make it the whole 70s. This includes the first years of the Atari 2600 and the very first arcade hits. The true console gen 2, to me, starts at 1980 when things really blow up in the arcades and at home. Also, I'm continuing certain game genre's into the present because they are just so iconic of the first gen of gaming like brick breakers. So here's my handheld iternerary for January (the console stuff will be in another post).
Handheld games on the days I only have half a day to play:
1. Mattel Electronics Baseball - There are other ME handheld games, and I have a few of them, but what I played mostly in the 70s was Baseball. So I'll be taking that out for a thorough replay. These are very simple games using LED lights behind a painted overlay.
2. Super Breakout (Game Boy Color) - I picked this up recently being surprised to see it. I'll try to use my GBA SP for this, but I'll likely have to switch to my DS Lite for the brighter screen. I could even use my GameCube's Game Boy Player, but that wouldn't be handheld would it (crazy how that GB Player disc for NGC is going for $150 now).
3. Arkanoid DS - I had to include Arkanoid games even though they debuted in the 80s. It's the next evolution of Breakout and an excellent improvement on the brick-breaker genre. I'm curious to see how this plays on the DS. I could use my DS Lite or my DSi XL for the bigger screen.
4. Alleyway and Kirby's Block Ball (Game Boy) - I haven't found these yet, but perhaps I'll use some Amazon money I got for Xmas to get them. Both use Breakout-like gameplay.
5. Break 'Em All (DS) - I got this on a whim. I'm assuming it uses brick-breaker gameplay, but we'll see.
6. Space Invaders (GB) - Also called Space Invaders Part II. Space Invaders (1978) was the first megahit video game arcade game, so it's included in my 70s gaming list even though it's technically in the console gen 2 lists.
7. Space Invaders DX (GBC) - I have this one. In color I presume.
8. Space Invaders Extreme 1-2 (DS) - I have SIE 2 but not 1. I can get 1 on SI Invincible Collection for Switch however. Is Switch a handheld device? Maybe so and maybe I'll treat it as such after getting through all the Game Boy and DS stuff.
9. Asteroids and Lunar Lander - I have these in handheld form as part of the DS game Atari Greatest Hits.
10. Galaxian - Part of Namco Museum on GBA.
11. Carnival Games DS - This has appeared on multiple systems over the years and includes the type of arcade amusements you might have encountered in the 70s like Skee Ball. I thought I'd include it as part of the 70s experience.
12. Peggle Dual Shot (DS) - I thought I'd consider Pachinko as a thing you might see in a 70s arcade but probably only in Japan. I had a childhood friend back then who had gone to Japan and brought back a Pachinko machine and we played it. Weird that there is no Pachinko thing out there on consoles or handhelds, but there is Peggle, which takes some inspiration from it. So why not?
Coming next is the console list. I'll be played 70s released stuff on the oldest consoles I have and working my way forward.
