Addendum to RPG Week 2

I'm kinda not doing the turn-based rpg thing anymore. I've pivoted to a new plan, but I'll mention that after my progress report on Friday's gaming.

Sukoro Quest: Dice Heroes - I played all four characters through mission one and to the mission two second, and final, boss. I felt like the Half-Elf who can shoot arrows and use spells as the most versitile and powerful of the characters (Fighter, Dwarf, Elf and Half-Elf), but it wasn't enough to beat that second boss to finish mission 2. I got close with the Half-Elf, but every darn time the rolls would go very heavily against me and there was little I could do. I had finally had it after the Half-Elf. Man, though, I love this game. I may just return to it one day just to enjoy what I can of it. Heck, maybe I missed some strategy or something and will overcome that mission two final boss next time.

Marvel Super-Heroes - I am in a serious groove with this game, replaying story missions for complete mini-kits, studs, and Stan Lee saves. I like Human Torch, Iceman, and Iron Man the best but you need at least five different ones for most levels to access other powers. I haven't found a kind of all-powers character yet (if one exists - maybe Thanos?). I remember in Lego Star Wars there was a robot that could do most things in the game.

I replayed all the main story missions and then grabbed a few of the co-op achievements by hooking up a second controller and signing it in as a guest. It worked super smoothly. I use wired controllers, so no syncing problems to worry about. I'm hoping to 100% this game over the next few weeks.

Clicker Heroes - Still churing away but about to unlock the ability to Ascend and restart the game with access to new heroes. I eat my lunch and watch it during game days.

New Plan - I thought I'd make my gaming follow my reading. I'm reading from different eras month to month for the year. To make video games follow for the years before video games, I just started a list of historic events of the time period in question and looked up games that might relate to that. So this month, May, is 1900-1949. There's a lot that might relate here like games set in WWI and II and much more. In just looking up WWI, I discovered there was a sequel to Valient Hearts: The Great War recently, which I'm thrilled about. VH: Great War was a 2014 game I really liked out on most systems. The new one, VH: Coming Home came out just about a year ago. I can't wait to add it to my wish list.

My only wish for this is that it be on a handheld, but then Switch is kinda of that now.
