Grinding for levels in Farm Together 2 and thinking about what retro games I'll play in September. 

But first, GamesCon. I watched a lot of sumaries of the show on youtube. High on Life 2 and Keeper, the next Double Fine game are already on my wish list. 

Farm Together 2 - 234 hours played. I'm at level 164, going for 200. I've hit 60 million bucks, going for 100M. I have 39 enclosures, going for 49. When I get to these goals, I'll have completed the achievements, and, I suppose, the game. My gaming buddy is about where I am, but he has more time than me and will likely get ahead and complete it before me. He's already playing other stuff like the Heretic/Hexen ports and the new RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business. I'm not sure what my post game involvement will be, but I'll likely be looking at other games to play. 

And that brings me to the change of month coming up and my retro play. The 1980s which will see me hit some local arcades, break out the rest of my Atari 2600 collection, a trip to Retrocon next weekend, and the NES. 

I just made a wish list for NES based on the excellent Jeremy Parish articles on Polygon, The 35 Greatest NES Games, Part 1 and Part 2.

I'll probably add to this over the month. Sometimes I go for games not on best of lists. 

Also, I'm trying to use only original hardware. Yes, I can play some of these on collections, but orignal hardware is the full experience. I only have a Retron 3 for NES, but I work with what I got. I'd love to have a CRT TV for this as well, if I find one for cheap. 

That's a week. A busy September awaits.
