Well, if they have editing tools that's awesome. Most Let's PLays are shit, but I genuinely enjoy a few of them, and I like things like Red vs. Blue, even if I don't always want to play Halo; so if these DVRs make that easier, I'm definitely all for it.

I was initially thinking that Game DVR meant you could record your entire play-through of a game, but it seems like it will just keep track of a certain number of minutes of recent play for you to capture if something interesting happens. I'm not totally sure though. I never had a DVR player for TV ever, so I'm not really sure how that all works.

The way our DVR works is you can record any program you want, and it will save to the DVR. How much space is left is told to you by what percentage of it is full. I imagine it will work similarly, but with all the other stuff in that box, you're right, I wonder how much memory will really be put aside for the DVR, and I imagine there will be restrictions on what you can do with the recorded footage, cause companies know people are somehow making a profit talking over their content, and probably aren't happy with that fact unless they're in a deal with those people, especially given how high production costs have become.

So you're right, it will probably be fairly limited. But I can dream.

It's stated that you can share these vids to popular social media sites. So I image I'll be able to link them here as well.

they will be good for capturing glitches and totally weird moments.  that's what excites me.

Yea, I like the way Xbox One will tie it to achievements so you can capture the moment you get that really tough one. PS4 might tie it to trophies, but I've haven't heard anything about that yet.

The only thing I used for Halo Theater moments (and I only used them for Halo 3) is funny moments in MP, like when an opponent tried to sneak in a bubble shield, throw a sticky grenade but stuck himself because he didn't clear the shield in time. It went over really well with my friends.

Aside from things like that, I'm not sure if I'd use that feature as much.

I did that once in, I think, Halo: Reach because there was an achievement for sharing a video. It worked very smoothly. If I played with more people, I would've probably used that feature a lot more. 

I like watching shorts or a collection of them. Some people do amusing things on YouTube with them. Like that guy Minnesota Burns. He likes to post vids of his COD matches where he relentlessly screws with angry kids. Even makes them cry sometimes. If it's a game I don't own yet I like watching to get a feel for the gameplay that is unedited and real.

My friend I used to work with used to tell me stories all the time about the way he got back at people on COD by messing with them verbally. 

I remember watching the vids of that guy who did the Warthog toss thing in Halo: CE. And I watched some Skyrim mod videos. Funny stuff.
