Muramasa Rebirth, Oh Yeaahh!

I put on my Kool-Aid Man suit this morning, drove to the mall, burst through its walls, gave the nice Gamestop man a delicious Kiwi Strawberry Jammer, and paid 40 bones for the boxed copy of Muramasa Rebirth on PS Vita, a device I don't even own. That's how much I wanted this improved rerelease of Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the Wii.

I am saving up for the Vita though and will be putting on the suit again and breaking another wall when Dragon's Crown comes out next month. It might not be until Christmas that I get a Vita at the rate I'm saving, but that's just the way it has to be. It's like grinding in Dragon Warrior. You can't go too far until you've collected enough gold and experience, which is why I rage quit the similar indie game Dragon Fantasy Book I recently. Old school RPG's are a little bit too much like real life in their economics to be tolerated. Action oriented, Japanese art gorgeous, Muramasa however? Pure awesome! Like a Kool-Aid Tropical Punch Burst on a hot day like today.

I'm pretty happy with my Wii version of Muramasa, so I'll skip out on this one.  No Vita either.

There's just so few games like this out there. I like my Wii version too, but I can't resist having it for other systems as well.

I own Muramasa on the Wii.  I thought about getting this version too (I also don't own a Vista), but I've been told by several friends that if I already own the Wii version, then I should probably skip it on the Vita.  The people I spoke with own both and say the Vita version looks awesome on the Vita, but don't think there is enough "bonus" material to buy the game again, unless I just want to had it to my game collection.

I'm getting Dragon's Crown too, but on the PS3.

I'm a little torn about whether to get Dragon's Crown on the PS3 or Vita, but I think I'll go Vita because it'll make a great addition to a library of games for Vita.
