I was killing time at the game section of BestBuy before going to see Riddick in the theater and saw this uDraw Game Tablet for $10. I've always wanted a drawing tablet for my computer, but the one I wanted was $500. I figure this will be a trainer to get me started. It says you can upload your images to the internet. I hope I can pepper my blogs with a little drawing now as well as the photographs. I'm trying to think of ideas that might work within a blog.

It comes with a uDraw Studio DVD that contains games and activities. It's clearly aimed at kids, but I don't care. I just want to draw stuff.

Nice, I have one of these and I think all the games for it on the PS3 (I think there are three games). The games feel like Android games with better graphics, and the drawing tablet is solid.

I haven't tried it as a computer tablet, heck I never thought about trying to hook it up. I have an older Wacom Bamboo tablet that gets the job done.

Cool. Clearly, this bombed pretty bad to be selling at $10. Was Riddick good?

The uDraw things are in every retail store in big piles for all systems. It's price had been going down down down. Now at $10 their practically giving it away and I thought it would be neat to have one at that price.

Riddick was good. I love the visual look of the movie and Vin Diesel is perfect in this role. Dave Bautista is in it too. I've seen him in several films already and am very impressed with his look. He's built like a human tank! He's amazing as Brass Body in Man with the Irion Fists.

Anyway, I really liked the film, watching Riddick survive the deadly wilderness, and then other people trying to kill him. There are a few week points that I can't elaborate on without spoilers, but they weren't bad enough to ruin the experience. The movie takes its own time and isn't one of those action films full of rapid fire cuts. All the characters are interesting if a little stereotypical to action movies, but I enjoyed it anyway. I love style over substance in films.

Did you watch the other Riddick movies? I really liked those. Or better yet, did you play Escape From Butcher Bay? That's a classic!

I've seen all the movies and played some of Butcher Bay on Xbox. I didn't get into the stealth gameplay, but I want to go back now and play it again. I'd like to pick up the 360 remake they did a few years ago.

$10?! Damn, I've got to find one of those now! I've always wanted to learn how to draw but I know digital drawing tablets cost a fortune. I wonder though if you can still upload pictures to the net with THQ gone.

I couldn't figure it out but the web site to upload to is gone for 360. However, the Wii version allows you to copy your work to a memory card for printing, so maybe the 360 version will allow that too. Once a file is on a card, then you can upload it anywhere you want.  When i get a chance to use it, I'll figure this out.

I was interested in one of these and I may need to pick one up now if they are that cheap. May get a PS3 one or a Wii one because uploading your art on the internet seems cool. I have Colors on my 3DS and it's nice but the screen is too small for me to draw anything.

I think you have to upload to worldofudraw.com, which now doesn't exist. But I know the Wii version can save files to a memory card which then can be uploaded. I have to try this thing out to be sure for the 360. I want to be able to upload my pics.

There are some games that use the uDraw tablet like Pictionary. Also there are games on the disc that teach drawing skills which is cool.

Nice, well I always wanted a drawing tablet but they are a bit pricey, this is seems like a much better alternative imo. May get the Wii one then and I'm always up for learning something new.

Those Wacom Bamboo tablets for your computer are much less than I thought. Under $100.

I bought the PS3 version for my kids.  I got it from GameStop.  It was priced at $30.  I was on the fence about getting it.  The store manager told me, she'd sell it to me for $10 if I just took it out of the store.  I couldn't pass up $10. Cool

The wiki page for uDraw makes it partially responsible for the demise of THQ. The Wii version apparently did pretty well though, but all the other versions tanked miserably.
