This issue tells a little bit of back story to the very first game. What actually happened to Ashley Williams there on Eden Prime before Commander Shepard got there and rescued her from the Geth? We want to know and so do two mysterious agents, one of whom looks like red haired Miss Brooks from M.E. Foundation #1, but she never reveals her name. They’re both agents of the Shadow Broker no doubt.

I’ve been noticing lately, in this and other comics, the use of multiple perspectives. You’ll get several pages of one location and set of characters, and then move to another, then back again. It reminds me of TV show editing. I think it works really well in comics, which are like TV shows on paper anyway, being all images and dialog.

Also in the image is my iPod Touch and the recent Bungie Podcast. They haven’t done one in a very long time, but finally they are back and talking about the weapon design in Destiny. I don’t know if Destiny will get my to buy a Xbox One or not, but the more I hear about the game, the more excited I get. This might just be the next true Halo game in all but name. I can’t wait for it to arrive next Spring.

can't go wrong with Ashley Williams!

When I played the first game, I wanted to get with the Asari Liari T'Soni, but the story made me go along with Ashley, who I didn't like. That girl slipped me a date rape drug, I know it. It's tough being a captain with GQ looks at the helm of the fastest ship in the fleet. They all want to get with me.

that's funny because in my latest playthrough i was trying to get with Ashley, but I ended up with Liara.  there's a lot of date rape in space.

I hated Ashley. Xenophobes aren't sexy at all.

I didn't like her attitude. Liara was much more my style.

sounds like I need to pick that up since I'm still working on Mass Effect 1. But then again I'm still debating if I should get the books first.

I read the very first Mass Effect book, Revelation, and liked it. It was like James Bond in space I thought. I should read the other ones. There are four books total, the first three written by Drew Karpyshyn. He did a lot of writing for the games KOTOR and Baldur's Gate II and wrote a bunch of Star Wars books. He's good.
