Are you getting psyched about a flashy new PS4 in your home this Friday? If you are planning on getting one, post your PSN ID in the comments here and other PixlBit members can add you to their friends list. I’ll try to compile a list within the body of this post until we’ve made it through the launch window a little bit. This way, we can all enjoy the launch games we’ll be making fun of in two years together!

I realize your PixlBit profile has your PSN ID on it, but that’s not convenient to look up, and how are we to know you’ve got a PS4 under your TV? Remember, you’ll now have 2,000 “friend” slots available to you, so fill it up with your PixlBit pals and we’ll race and shoot each other all winter long!

PS4 psn Ids would be the same as the ps3 ones right? I'm not planning on going next gen any time soon, but if you'd like to friend me my ID is fishygold.

I'm not going to get it at launch but I will probably pick one up early next year. For me there isn't a "Must Play" game on it right now, but I do look forward to you guys posting your thoughts about the new console, and games in future blogs

I was getting one but i had some money issues pop up and sadly had to cancel. I however am gonna aim to buy one at the beginning of the year in jan or feb.

Maybe Tax time thats if I dont get my hip replacement still not sure if I want one at launch I may get a ps3 since im sure there will be a significant price drop. :)

I'm still curious on how exactly the PSN ID system will work with two Sony systems with PSN access. I don't plan on getting a PS4 just yet but I DLed the Playstation App to see if I can set up a PSN account for a future PS4 link it. I'd try to link my PS3 PSN ID but I don't know if they'll let you use it for both consoles or if the PS3 PSN ID will override to your PS4, leaving your PS3 without a PSN ID anymore.

Still curious just the same.

This Playstation Plus Features Trailer I watched right here on Pixlbit says your membership extends across PS3, PS4, and Vita. I guess you can sign in the same way on any of those devices, just maybe not several at once?

I would love to get a PS4. I want to play Killzone badly. Budget won't allow at this time sadly. I was six month to a year late on all the last gen systems. I'm exhibiting the same pattern this gen too. I bought the 3DS almost 2 years after launch and the Vita about 1 1/2 years later, and the Wii-U is in my sites now exactly a year from it's release.

Wired's Game/Life Podcast this week talked about the PS4's ability to stream gameplay footage to places like Twitch. It would be awesome if Pixlbit had a live feed of Pixlbits here playing games on PS4 so some of us can at least watch.

I did a little last night. I can do it again easily. Maybe look tonight at twitch.tv/wiseacrelodge

Might do something more "formal" sometime, but I'm not sure what.
