Hey everyone! I haven’t been around here much, although I have been keeping up with most of your blogs. I really haven’t been helping out with the site or commenting too often, which is unfortunate. I miss being involved with PixlBit!

Hey, remember old stuff? Sure, ya do! Well head over to our forums and read threads and post in threads and start threads about your retro game topic du jour.

This is just a friendly reminder that we have forums now and therein can be found some free things that I and others are giving away. Sure, I could post a direct link, but howzabout you click the "Forums" link in the menu bar and check the whole thing out.

I'm not one for blogging, but since I'm sitting here at the computer with writer's block, I figured I would go ahead and spew out some random things to power through it. This is going to be some quick hits type content here, yo, so hold on.

I made a very minor update to Frothy Bird over on itch.io. The splash screen at the start was really bugging me, so I made it a little more acceptable and ditched my weird crafty font and just used the blocky font I used elsewhere. There are still several other minor things I'd like to fix up, but this is one I could do in a single evening without any real hiccups. 

Hello, all! I have been completely MIA from PixlBit the entire weekend so I could finish up a project I've been working on. I'm going to keep this brief, since I am completely exhausted from working on the ridiculous thing.

Yesterday I totally copped out on my entire comittment to play Donkey Kong and blog about it daily. Today I am going to do even less, but hopefully not scar minds in the process. To provide related content, I will point you the restoration showcase sub-form on KLOV. These guys do some awesome restorations of many things, including Donkey Kong cabinets. There's a pretty cool look at changing a Nintendo cabinet into a Fixit Felix Jr, for instance.
