Oh Looky Here! It's Scribblenauts Figures.

I found this Scribblenauts Unmasked Mini-Figures ad in a comic today. I guess the Skylanders craze is rubbing off on other IPs.

These little guys are so cute, I'm even more interested in playing the game now. I want to play as Harley Quinn and squash things with a giant hammer stolen from a High Striker attraction at a carnival. "WHAM!!!"

That's basically my thought on this whole "put your figures in the game, kids!" craze. I mean it's cool, but that's a lot of extra money to spend on a game when you could easily just have those character models in the game without any extra figurines to purchase.

I think these are just figures outside the game. Collectible things. A four pack is $16.99.

Yeah they'll make figures out of anything. When Aardman did clay animated DC shorts, they even made figures of those! I did review Scribblenauts Unmasked a while back, though.

I heard Skylanders is Activisions second biggest money maker outside of Call of Duty. When I was in North Carolina, I went to a Walmart type store and the endcaps in the gaming section were COD on one and Skylanders on the other. Now Disney's got a line so why not Scribblenauts too. $16.99 for four of them seems a bit steep and they probably don't have Harley Quinn. <sigh>

Action figures are cool. I have one I couldn't resist when I saw it at Gamestop. The Brute Leader Tartarus from Halo 2.

These figures look cool, but I'm not into the collectable stuff, so I'd probably not get these. If they were sold individually, I'd probably get Batman

Right! I want particular ones. This is the list of the first set according to The Blotsays.com: Aquaman, Superman, Black Manta, Batman, Bane, Green Lantern Maxwell, Deadman, Batman: Blood Storm, Bizarro, Blue Suit Aquaman, Green Lantern Sinestro and a strange golden statue of Superman.

I still want Harley Quinn!
