This story centers around Spartan Sarah Palmer and Commander Laskey. They are on a diplomatic mission to help protect negotiations between a Brute Ambassador and The Arbiter on a remote planet. However a rogue Covenant group wants to interfere and we're left with a conflict that gets quickly out of control.

I was really impressed with the art drawn by Sergio Arino in this issue. Much better than the previous series Initiation. The story by Halo 4 writer Christopher Schlerf is pretty good as well. The ending is a bit of a surprise and quite dramatic.

I know I've been annoyed by Halo lately, but I'm still following it all and seeing where it's going in this post Bungie era. Halo is really where I started to become a superfan of games, so all my feelings about them revolve around this one IP.

I don't know if there's a specific game that got me into video games, other than the obvious Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt.

I've always been into video games, it's just that Halo really took it to the next level. I'm kinda lost now for a series I can really get behind.

The upcoming Halo TV show is going to be just like The Office with Elite Jul 'Mdama as the clueless Regional Manager, Commander Laskey as the practical joker Senior Sales Rep, and Spartan Sarah Palmer as the abused Receptionist. The cover above shows the hilarious result after Laskey staples all of 'Mdama's important papers to his desktop.

I'm still holding off for I hope to see this re-released in a graphic novel type format. I'm still behind on the novels themselves.

Maybe I'll be lucky and this story might find it's way on Spartan Ops season 2, that is if there will be one.

I always wonder about whether to wait for the trade of a comic series or not, but I always end up going for the single issues unless I'm catching up on a series I missed.
