Vesperia is definitely one of the better Tales games. I played to the end but didn't finish it... I'm not sure if I traded it in, but I think I have another digital copy on my xbox. Great game, enjoy.

I played a bunch of Borderlands 2 yesterday with MADKRAMMER, picked up Tales of Vesperia, and preordered Fable Anniversay this morning.

Playing Borderlands 2 was really great the other day. I was playing on my own for a while until I got to Captain Flynt who I couldn’t beat. I was running around with no ammo when I finally called to my friend MADKRAMMER to come in and help me. I was level 8 and he was level 30. I ran from the boss and just stayed alive while watching him arrive and quickly dispatch the boss. I said, “Is it over already?” He laughed. We then played co-op for the rest of the evening. I tagging along as he led the way through the main quests. I got to level 14 at the end of it and cleared several campaign missions at breakneck speed – MADKRAMMER couldn’t wait to smash more low level foes. Every time I did equipment maintenance at a shop, MADKRAMMER was waiting impatiently to get back to smashing. I forgot to mention he is a Gunzerker and I am an Assassin. I got this sweet sniper rifle that shoots six shots at once with fire damage. Most of the time though I sighted up and didn’t take the shot because I saw MADKRAMMER roll right over my target with an explosion of gore. I wasn’t mad. It was funny as heck seeing that through my scope. I still got some experience for his kills. At one point I got an achievement for leveling up without taking a shot. He got one for reviving me several times too. We made it just past the cut scene where the whole town of Sanctuary takes flight to escape Handsome Jack's assault, a great spot to stop, although we didn't want to. It was too much fun.

I got Tales of Vesperia for $5 on XBL that night. I couldn’t pass that one up. It is still $35 used at Gamestop. I regretted not buying it when it was cheap. The price climbed year after year.
These daily sales on Xbox have been pretty cool. I’ve gotten Stacking and Skulls of the Shogun for under $5 each and I’m sure more will be on the way. I only regret I didn’t pick up Darksiders the other week. It was like $7.
2004 Fable TV Commercial
I preordered Fable Anniversary this morning. I decided I was definitely going to pick it up next week and why not get the little in game chotchies from Gamestop. Apparently you get Peirates Outfit and Cutlass and Albion's Outfits and an Avatar helmet. Peirates' (or Pete's) Cutlass is described as: "the hook could be used to catch fish, the tip could be used to eat fish, and the blade could be used to slit a man's throat". Wow, it's the Swiss Army Knife of Pirates!
