This is BaD. I'm just going to list today's events. No time.

Monday's Events:

Dug out my car. Raced to MADKRAMMER's place to play Borderlands 2.

Bought Alice: Madness Returns on XBLA for $7 on sale. Gamestop's selling it used for $35. I'd say that was a qoup.

Free game on XBLA this week is Dead Island. Oh yeah. Grabbed that super fast. Can't wait to play that co-op after I'm done with B2.

Got to level 27 in Borderlands with MADKRAMMER. Awesome!

Yeah the snow is supposed to hit where I'm at in the Midwest on Tuesday or Wednesday. Its supposed to be 5 to 10 inches of that white power devil flakes. Cry

Here in PA it was heavy wet snow, but the temperature wasn't that cold so it melted a little bit. So the roads are now ok but the trees are still heavy with clumps of snow. I wondered what name the Eskimos would give this kind of snow.

I noticed over tha pass year Alice: Madness Returns has gone up in price.  For a while I couldn't find it.  I bought a used copy from GS and paid $25 for it about a year ago.

And Tales of Vesperia came down a bit. It used to be $45, now it's $35 at GS.

I paid $20 for Vesperia (360) a few years ago.  You got to get used games at the right time.  Wait too long and you may pay more for it used than when it was new. Laughing

It's some trick to figure out just when a game has hit it's lowest price.

I got Madness Returns for a similar price on Steam. What's a quop?

Gorram it! I meant Coup as in Coup d'etat. That's how rushed I was to get a blog out today. Well, gaming takes first priority. Blogs second.

my brother played DEad Island.  i think he liked it.  I like the take on the genre, but I think they should have gone to a different setting for the sequel?  I dunno.

I've heard it's great in co-op and that's my preferred way to play anything.

Heck yeah, pick up Alice when its cheap! I bought my copy on PSN a couple of months ago...I'll finish it eventually.

I hope I get to it. Got so many games on my "to play" list it's kinda rediculous.

I'm tired of seeing snow already. I usually like cold weather, but not if it's gonna be like this for the next few weeks.

It's like every week there's another storm. Is it a sign of a coming ecological disaster? I've never seen such persistant snow storms in my area of PA.

Send that snow north and quit hogging it! I figure if it's going to be cold and dark, there might as well be snow to play in. Although that 10 or so inches yesterday was a good start :)

I'd love the snow if I didn't have to drive around in it in a compact car. Give me a pickup and I'd be in heaven. My next car is going to be bigger. Good on gas or not, I don't care. I want a bigger car. I'm thinking of working for the Township. Then all this will be fine by me.

I remember going to school near the Finger Lakes in NY. It snowed full on every winter and I cross-country skiied to classes and all over the place. That was great!

I have a 1999 Subaru Outback and it's the best vehicle by far in the snow and ice that I have ever driven. It came with a set of studded snowtires when I bought it and it could go anywhere! I don't have the studded snows any more, but I do have a set of snows on it. It's still really good in the snow and since I'm not commuting 25 miles one way in a snowstorm to work any more, I couldn't see spending the additional $$ for studs.

One of my best friends has an Outback and he drives it all over the country. I remember reading a review in Consumer Reports way back that said it was the most reliable car in its class. I'm keeping it in mind when I go for my next car which might be fairly soon.

Still holding out for a cheper physical copy of that Alice game. It was tempting off XBL but I think I'll try for the PS3 version instead.

Physical copies are definitely cooler.
