Well, here we are, the last day of February, and I have not kept my commitment. I had high hopes to actually improve at Donkey Kong after playing it every day for a month, and then I just eventually stopped playing. I ran out of time to play and then to write about any of it. The end result of this is that I didn't even break my own record.

On the upside, I was able to get better at passing the third elevator screen, so it wasn't a total waste. I played several games today to take one last try at success, but don't have anything notable to report.

Another main reason why I flaked out on this was to work on my game for the Flappy Jam. Even though it still needs some work and another minor feature or two, I was pretty pleased that I got it working well before the jam's deadline. Making that game will probably be more important to me in the long run than playing a bunch more Donkey Kong, so I have no regrets about my choice.

Anyway, I'm sorry I didn't come through, but hopefully you can ease your pain by playing Frothy Bird until you forget all about it.

Frothy Bird kills the pain of existence.

Ah, don't worry about not keeping up with BaD.  It's tough.  A month is a long time.  I was still entertained by your Kong blogs.

I knew it would be hard, but damn. I have lots of respect for everyone that made it through.

Frothy Bird is great, so I have no regrets about your decision, either.

Don't worry, even if you didn't break your scores, you still tried and you had good reasons to stop.

It was fun while it lasted, but like all good things it too must come to an end.

Which game am I referring to? You'll never know *sinister laugh*
