When you play as Fragtrap does your perspective change since claptraps are shorter than the humans around him? I was wondering because I was watching a Twitch stream of somebody playing Presequel and everything in the world (the enemies, the vending machines, etc.) looked bigger than they were in Borderlands 2.

Well I'm a level 20 Fragtrap now in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and I've still not finished the story. I get distracted quite a bit doing side missions and figuring out a system of saving and disposing of extra weapons.
The side missions are really funny and a lot of fun. Fragtrap has his own unique reactions to the characters and events that take place, the funniest ones having to do with other claptraps.
I got all my gear up to purple rarity items and got the same achievement that you get in Borderlands 2. So much of this game's mechanics and even level design is similar to B2. There is an indoor area that twists and turns about itself like a long coridor just like a similar area in B2 and there's a lab area full of creatures that reminds me of the game reserve in B2. Concordia serves as a hub town just like Sanctuary in B2. The list goes on and on. It's almost too much similarity as after a while you feel like maybe you're playing the very same game.
That being said, the voice work is very well acted and the dialog is unique even though the mood of cheerful insantity is still the same. There is the new mechanic of lower gravity, which is neat, but it's not that much different. So far I haven't experienced any zero-g areas which could make things very different. The feeling of samyness is beginning to weigh on me a bit and I've been wondering if it was worth full price. Like many have said, it's like a DLC pack for B2, granted, a very large one. I've been playing for 24 hours now and haven't finished it.

The main thing I did today was try and figure out the grinder which combines three weapons into one. I couldn't make anything from purple rarity weapons and so gave up on that. I did however find one Legendary yellow weapon (like the one above), the first I've seen so far. Overall the game has seemingly felt easier than B2. I've gotten up to purple or better equipment much faster than I did in B2, but I also had a few more legendary gear in B2, so The Pre-Sequel seems more stingy about giving up the rarest loot.
One interesting new feature is optional objectives to missions which net you better rewards. The one I did today required me to use a laser weapon to take out a certain number of enemies and the extra was lighting them on fire. The trick here is that since you're on the Moon with no air, the flames go out right away, so only in oxygen bubbles can you light them on fire. I had to lure enemies into the oxygen bubble I set up to do this. I would watch enemies get lit on fire and then move outside the bubble and watch the fire go out. Kinda neat that.
So there are some wrinkles to the Borderlands formula here, just small ones.
