Started out today playing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on True Vault Hunter mode with the implacable Mad Krammer on Xbox Live. I got really, really frustrated with getting knocked around so much. It was like I had a butter shield protecting a fat weeping child; I got knocked down, then got up again, over and over and over. I was pretty good at getting a kill to revive myself during Fight For Your Life Mode though. Then I watched the Eagles play Green Bay and saw pretty much the same thing play out for the Eagles. They got knocked down, got up again, but basically stayed down more often than up. I give Green Bay the respect due, they played an immaculate game of football.

After all that, I was pretty frustrated, so I played the new Handsome Jack body double character to level 6 by myself. He spawns clones of himself as his special move. I put a crown on his head and colored him gold. I guess this was a little therapy to revive my spirits. The dialog between my player Jack and the character Jack was pretty funny. They seemed to like each other. . . a lot. 

Along the way, I decided on a new way to arrange my weapons: two sets of two, each with one long range and one close range. It makes switching weapons a little faster in the heat of battle and simplifies my load out.

Then I went to dinner with my mom and had a beer. When I came back to BtPS, I was feeling pretty good. I switched back to my level 40 Fragtrap and returned to co-op with Mad Krammer, but this time playing on Normal mode where both our characters would be super duper bad-asses.

There was a funny glitch though. I couldn't join Mad Krammer's game but he could join mine. I don't understand why. There's also this glitch that makes you have to reassign all your skill points every time you join another person's game. I hope they patch that.

           

    Got that one last week. Spin around in the air and get a kill with an unscoped sniper rifle.

We got started on a few achievements. First, Mad Krammer gave me a second legendary weapon, so I could craft a new one from two legendaries and one purple in the Grinder - that's an achievement. Then we went looking for the last two named areas I hadn't found yet to complete the achievements for finding all of them, both on the moon Elpis, and the Hyperion Space Station. Then we took on the final boss again as part of the last side mission and beat it, gaining two more achievements. I stayed at level 40 throughout all this because, as higher level characters playing on Normal mode, you don't get very much XP.

I'll be back into the game tomorrow (Monday) for some more. Mad Krammer is going to show me two of the hidden bosses in the game. I can't wait.
