That's a huge range and variety of media! I would find it interesting if you gave a breakdown of how many games you played for different systems. Just another statistic lol. By the way, did you actually finish The Thousand Year Door?

I love jumping around to all sorts of systems, but I did stay with 360 a lot because that's what my regular gaming buddy plays.

The Thousand YEar Door is a great game with great music but I never finished it.  Like Daftman, I'm curious if you finished it.

I really want to see Wind Rises and Grand Budapest Hotel.  I have a hard time concentrating on movies though.

And was Valiant Hearts really 15 hours?  Jeez.

Got close but didn't finish it. I'm going to love going back to it though. Such a great game.

Valiant Hearts can be done completely in 8.5 hours according to howlongtobeat.com, but that's probably with a guide or something. I searched hard for everything and only looked up a guide for a few things.

Hooray for The Wind Rises!  That should've won the Oscar for best animated picture, not Frozen.

Yeah, really, and I actually had some hope it might get considered. Nope.

I think during the last year I can only do a top 10 games list...

I really listen to less music and see less film than I used to. Reading is really big with me though and, of course, gaming is still number one. It may be only books and games in 2015. We'll see.

We watched The Grand Exotic Marigold Hotel last night on Netflix and I kept thinking Wes Anderson directed it until I saw John Madden's name in the end credits. Then I realized I was thinking of a different motel movie.

I wonder how many Hotel movies are around. Oh, I just remembered one I've seen recently. It was Four Rooms [1995] staring Tim Roth.

100 Years of Solitude is among the pile of books I'm trying to read through, I really have to step up my reading game.

It takes time. I figure a book takes about as long as a single player campaign in most video games. Something like 15 hours or so. That's how I think of it anyway. Of course, I'm reading War and Peace right now, so that's more like some kind of RPG campaign. I have no interest in speed reading though. That's like cheating your way through a game. You don't experience it thoroughly.

I haven't played any game of this year nor can say much about comics, music and books, but my favorite movie of this year is a big tie between Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Boyhood and Interstellar. Excellent films and already in my favorites.

Haven't seen any of those yet, but I've heard a lot about them.

The Satanist was a damn good album. So atmospheric and evil!

And huh. You really like your Borderlands...

KnightDriver

I didn't like Borderlands at first. My friend liked it a lot so it made me try it again and I started to like it. It does frustrate me fairly often though, I've rage quit it several times. I do love the humor in it.

Behemoth is really great. I narrowed down the songs on that album to two favorites: The Satanist and Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer.

Both great tracks, but I think the last track, O Father O Satan O Son! is my favourite. It's creepy, atmospheric and awesome in all the right ways.

As for Borderlands, I don't like the pacing mainly, and I hte the bullet spongey enemies. I definitely get the appeal, but it just annoys me.

I like trees. You can hug a tree. You can't hug a Master Chief and live.
