Played Diablo III today. I played solo the whole time because Mark is over level 60 now and plowing through Inferno Mode. I'll never catch up now! GOSH!

I wanted to listen to all the dialog in the game because I really like voice acting and want to hear more about the characters and story. I got all the talking done in Act I and all but one in Act II. The story is totally sweet. The Nephalem are from ancient days and are the result of Angels and Demons making that thing that made us. You know what I mean. Don't make me say it! GOSH!

Anyway, Eirena is a totally sweet follower. I tried the Templar and Scoundrel but those were dudes. She was my main girl. We were like two frickin' Scottish wizards; like the ones that protected Nessie at Lock Ness. We were battling through the Dahlgur Oasis, our webs of lighting entwining as we shocked the very souls from the grotesque bodies of demons. I did a picture of her.

It took me three hours to finish the shading on the upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done. If only she could go to the dance with me. Maybe Kip can find some weird science machine on the internet to make this happen.

I put some horses on my banner. I prefer the manticore, or a creature I made. I call it a liger 'cause it's both a lion and a tiger, and bred for its skills in magic. If I could put that on my banner, I would. As you can see, I'm weilding a wand right now, but I'd rather wield a bo-staff or numchucks. The wand, though, is the best I've found so far.

I tried some lighting spells and stuff, but soon went back to my snowfall and terrible winds. Those worked the best when I upped the difficulty to Hard, and played Act II in Nightmare Mode. I'm trying to level up to 50 so I can move on to Hell mode, but it's slow going. I thought Hard would make me level faster, and it does a little bit, but it slows my game down as I battle tougher monsters. Trying to find all the dialogs, and any caves I missed, doesn't help for speed either. That's my prefered mode though; a kind of mellow exploration of everthing in the world of Sanctuary. I just wish those magically chained-together demons wouldn't trap me in a corner and kill me. They're such flipping idiots!

That's about it. I say to you what I said to Pedro. Follow your heart. Now I'm gonna go have some tots.

Your drawing is really nice. I wish I could draw.

The drawing was supposed to be bad like Napoleon Dynamite's one in the movie, but it's hard to ruin a photo altered in photoshop to look like a drawing. It always looks kinda good. I was tempted to draw one myself, but only time restraints and not having my scanner nearby kept me from it. That would've been better 'cause it really would have been bad like I wanted it to be; although, I do have some weird innate drawing skill I probably got from my grandfather.

These constant Diablo blogs made me want to replay the game on my own since it's proving difficult for me and my brother to play together with the baby around. I started a Barbarian. I'm just playing it on normal though. I got tired of dying and it didn't seem to penalize you much. Also, this blog is awesome. Now I have to go and watch Napoleon Dynamite again. GOSH!!

Thanks. There's no penalty for even playing the whole game and Hardcore mode on Easy. You can get all the achievements without ever leaving Easy also. I just don't like it 'cause you barely have to do anything to win. At one point I wasn't even fighting anymore but just running through the levels because nothing was even dinging my health. I'll play on Hard just like I want to do. GOSH!

Angels and demons?!?! That shouldn't even be possible. Wouldnt one or the other burst into flames in that fashion given the closeness of their either holy/unholy acts? Seems like polar opposites taht shouldn't be able to get close enough with not mutually trying to destroy eachother.

I had an arguement with my friend over this. He thinks the Nephalem were created from unions between humans and Angels. "You frickin' wish", I said, snorting derisively, "but I read on wikia otherwise, and I quote": "Indeed, the union of angel and demon created a third essence. And we are those children. We are the nephalem." Then humans were the decendants of the Nephalem. GOSH!!!
