Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. looks cool. Seventh Son looks cheesy. Sleep is awesome. I need anxiety medication. By which I mean alcohol at home.

Thought I'd run down what I'm planning on doing later tomorrow (technically it's today, but I'm going to sleep the first 8 hours, so it feels like tomorrow to me).
As soon as I get up, I'm going to Gamestop to preorder Code Name: S.T.E.A.M for 3DS. This is an Intelligent Systems game, the guys who make Advance Wars. Enough said, as far as I'm concerned. I have the demo downloaded on my 3DS but I haven't had time to see any more than the opening cut-scene. The steampunk design is pretty cool. I heard more about it today at work listening to IGN's Nintendo Voice Chat Podcast for Jan 30. They were saying it feels like it might have started out as an Advance Wars game before they started changing things up with the steampunk design and more Valkyria Chronicles style combat. It's still turn-based they say. I might have some time tomorrow (today) night to get to the demo.
Then I'll be heading to my friend Mark's place (this all sounds like I'm 15 or something doesn't it) and we're going to see Seventh Son in the theaters. It's a fantasy flick based on a British author's novel series. I think they want it to be the next Harry Potter, or at least capture those fans for a similar but perhaps darker fantasy flick. It has Jeff Bridges as the aged master knight who teaches the youngster the ways of knighthood, or something like that. Jeff Bridges, in the trailer, sounds like he's doing the same character he did in R.I.P.D. which is fine. I like that character.
It'll probably be kinda ok, but I like fantasy flicks.
Then we'll get back to his place and game it up. I just rolled up my games for next week's retro weekend (it's Valentine's Day on Sat). I'll reveal them later, but let's just say, I will be hooking up my Wii to download some titles from Virtual Console.
Then it'll be back to Diablo III and probably some sweet grub. I'm thinking Chinese right now, but who knows. It might be pizza from a favorite place on the way back from the movie - can't go wrong with that.
Anyway, it's been a shitty, stressful, and anxiety laden week, and I'm looking forward to goofing off as much as possible.
Happy algorithms.
