Just looking at my 3DS XL notifications after coming home from work tonight. Looks like I got six all at once when I went to this Hotel. I had four from earlier in the week, so now I'm maxed out with 10. Weehoo! Time to play some Mii Plaza games.

Also, my friend at work, who's a big Destiny player, is now playing Evolve. He showed me the trailer and some gameplay videos at work. The game looks fantastic and seems to have action kind of similar to Destiny, in that, you work in teams to take down monsters; however, in Evolve, another player controls the monster. He says he's going to try and get in the Evolve tournament about to happen. You have to take your team and beat monsters controlled by Chappie, the robot AI in the upcoming movie by the same name.

I didn't know Evolve was made by the people behind Left 4 Dead. Also, the gameplay of Evolve reminds me of what Lionhead is doing with Fable Legends: four players up against a single player controlling the monster, or monsters.

Happy Valentine's Day you Pixl-Love-Biters!

I wanna get into evolve. If I can get a good deal of people to play I might just pick it up. Maybe I can convince Joe since he has a PS4 now....hmmm.....

Happy V-Day!

I am wary of any game that requires more than two people. I'm just shy like that.

Evolve looks good, but like Greenman said on another blog, the DLC policy is kind of sickening.

Also, those games succeed or fail depending on who you're playing with.  I used to play Left 4 Dead a lot with my brother, and it really depends on whether you've got a good team or not, and if you're playing with strangers, you never know what you're going to get.

That being said, it does look fun.

Only in the tutorial. I'm much more of a hunter.

I been playing with a few of my buddies.  Theyre way better than I am. Still fun

My friend at work is the kind of personality that loves this type of game. He can easily deal with random people and make friends quickly. Not me though. I was nicknamed "monk" once. That should tell you something.

My friends on Facebook were saying to get Evolve when I told them I was getting a PS4. But I um ... need to cut down on some spending, so we'll see ...

I like looking at gameplay footage my friend at work shows me, but multiplayer games are not my thing. At least, if it requires more than two people.

Evolve looks nice. Sadly, there are many shady DLC practics I discovered they are using, especially the dreaded day-one DLC.

I'm getting more lucky with Streetpass, with finally crossing with atleast one person per day and yesterday even getting two people (not at the same time).

People seem real sensitive about DLC, but then I remember I got kinda pissed when I was going for this achievement in Gears of War 3 and realized later that it wouldn't unlock until I bought the DLC. Luckily it was a great game, and I was happy to get all the DLC. But it was kinda annoying.

I don't know man, it looks kind of fun but I would rather have Left 4 Dead 3.

I guess they just couldn't resist doing movie monsters instead of zombies.
