I forgot to mention yesterday. I got a Spot Pass Special Mii and guess who it was. Reggie! Yes, it was Reggie Fils-Aime's Mii and he was there to plug the new 3DS. What was he playing? Majora's Mask of course. I wonder if he's actually playing it or some intern has his 3DS and plays it for him.

So I brought him into Mii Plaza after I had run my 10 Miis through the obstacle course of games. I couldn't ignore him, so I ran him through most of the games to see if he'd bring something special. For Puzzle Swap he gave me a new panel. There was nothing special that I noticed for Find Mii II. I skipped Mii Force because one Mii is not enough to really play it well. In Flower Town, he gives you a glowing seed if your plant is at that stage of growth. Mine wasn't, so no benefit there. In Warrior's Way, though, he gave me 10,000 armies! That was good. And in Monster Manor he gave me a three point permanent health boost. So it was definitely worth it to run him through the games.

I've gotten two speical Miis so far. One I got from Barnes & Noble at Christmas and this one from Embassy Suites Hotel, which is a Hilton, on the release of the new 3DS.

ha ha I wonder if it is an intern whose job is to play Reggie's 3DS. Who knows?

I'm gonna have to start carrying mine around and see who i pick up.

It's fun. Also, I think Reggie would probably play it. He just seems like he would want that first hand experience and not fake it.

I actually picked up Reggie on StreetPass for reals at E3 one year. Same with Yuji Naka!

Well, Fils-Aime has said Link to the Past is his favorite game I think and I wouldn't be surprised if it was him, honestly. Would be even less surprised by an intern, but it's still cool you ran into him.

I guess Nintendo puts out these special Miis to all their Nintendo Hot Spots around the country at certain times. Now I have two places in my area I know are Hot Spots.
