Hi. It feels like it's been a while. It probably hasn't. Oh well. It's approaching June, which meanse Winter is kicking in here. It's already gotten down to freezing temps, which ain't cool. It's also been fucking with my depression, which is somewhat seasonal. I've also had the flu pretty bad. That means I haven't been doing a great deal unfortunately.

So Bilby and I recently moved back to Armidale and got our own place! Well, our own place with two roommates, but hey, babysteps. It ends up costing us $120 a week in rent which is pretty awesome, since it's pretty close to town. The only thing is we live on a fucking steep hill that is murdering me on my daily walk. But hey, I should hopefully get in shape a lot quicker this way.

Look, Metroidvania's might just be my favourite genre of all time. Games like Super Metroid, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Metroid Prime, and Dark Souls litter my top 20. I guess I'm a sucker for games that heavily encourage exploration and give tangible progression that does more than simply damage enemies more.
