My Backlog is starting to look like a hoarders wet-dream right now, but I'll definitely check this out sometime!
(Even made a post-it note memo for later, thanks!)

It was damn good!
Too bad the re-skinned the Smelter Demon and threw it back in. Not sure entirely why, but I really really really hate that boss...
Killer review man!
I just spent a bit of time reviewing this myself here for PB, so hopefully that will be out relatively soon.
Anyway; I'm glad you touched about the lack of a Check Point system in the game. This was something I talked about in my review and in the end I rolled it out as a poorly designed, great system. By this, I mean I found that the lack of check points really really impeded and slowed down my progression as I would normally take around half hour to 45 minutes per section, just sitting there and analyzing and planning. Then when I inevitably died at certain parts, I would be thrusted back about 45 minutes and have to redo everything.
But...
To me (and it may only be me...), this really kind of broke a 4th wall in the realms of survival horror, because I was legitimately scared to die and be thrown back. This is why I say the lack of check points is a poorly designed, great system. It really added to the game for me, and I hated the idea of how much I loved it!
Go for Fatal Frame II, it's amazing.
I'm kinda sorta playing it as well. I just haven't gone back to it in over a year lol
About 4 months ago, I crammed both seasons of Arrow in within 2 weeks time. That show somehow grabbed me and I wouldn't allow it to let me go.
With that said, Arrow and Flash have both been incorporated in to my weekly DVR schedules!
You have failed this city!
Awww yea
Whoa wait...
Cute Red-heads exist out in the wild?
No way
Aw snap..
I think this is the first claim for a sweep so far in Who Would Win!
I have Downpour, but I simply couldn't really get in to it for some reason. I need to revisit it.
I did play and beat Home Coming however, and I gotta admit that I liked it a lot. Of all the Silent Hill games, I think Home Coming had some of the best bosses. Just my opinion though, but damn were they awesome!
You have been missed, welcome back!
