sell me your gamess!!
no voice acting--7.9/10
haha. with a straight face?
Was hoping for more in-depth Olive Garden discussion I disagree with the gift giving thing though. Wouldn't you rather give someone what they really want? Then they'll remember that you're the one that game them something super-amazing that they always wanted--which of course, is the true spirit of giving.
It doesn't matter. It still takes 100 years for an elderly person to put the change back, put the receipt in their purse/wallet, grab their stuff, and remember that they need to start walking towards the exit door
I played Motor Forza 2 (or forza horizon 2?). It felt like any other racing game, only one course and 3 cars in the demo; the stingray and the aston martin both felt the same. Very limited deni, but the rewind feature is nice. The course went through some fields, which probably isn't too good for such nice cars.
Sunset Overdrive was neat. The mission wanted you to blow up the amusment park ride cars, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I was fighting the camera and controls and trying to figure out what weapon does what and fighting off zombies at the same time. The control overlay only showed up after you died but not on pause :{
My fave was Elite: Dangerous, a space sim with missions and such. The demo was just hunting down another ship in an asteroid field and shooting it, but you will be able to customize your ship, go on quests throughout the galaxy, and whatnot. It was funded by Kickstarter last year and is out on Dec 16. The dual flight sticks they had at the event were siick. One of the sliding buttons can be used to prioritize repairs during battle. The guy said it will only take up 4Gigs of hard drive space.
I played "Tomb Raider" and shot a rabbit in the face with an arrow. 10/10
Finally, I played Arkham Origins and made no progress and didn't know where to go or why the bad guys couldn't be killed. The fun ended when it froze up for no reason whatsoever. (also 10/10)
I didn't go inside to see what else was there because I thought it was just a restaurant/music venue. Oops..
Yea, all while I was on the register. Not exactly in a position to keep up with customers' ineptly aimed bowel movements!
Yup. This^ This is the generation that grew up watching Mean Girls so it's not surprising.
I thought I was the only one that recorded my own vgame mix tapes. Nerdtacular
