Mario Kart World may not be the end all, beat all game to get a Switch 2 for, but man, Donkey Kong Bananza sure is! I just beat it and I think it's even better than Super Mario Odyssey.
Yeah the Switch 2 version of Pac-Man World 2: Re-Pac is a Game Key Card, but the regular ol' Switch version is the actual game on the card. So guess what? I will be getting the Switch version of that game. Actually I'd rather get it on the PS4, but I don't think Namco is doing a physical version of that. I'd upgrade to a PS5 but the only game I want to play on it is Astro Bot.
All the Irem collections are like that.
Sonic Racing Crossworlds on Switch 2 has been a bit of a controversy because it's supposed to be just a Game Key Card which means that the game isn't actually on the cartridge. It just reads the card and downloads the game but won't let you play it unless you are connected to the Internet. I do not want to support that kind of practice so if the game doesn't come out full on Switch 1 or PS4, the other 'modern' consoles I have, I guess I won't be getting that game at all. A lot of third parties are going in that direction and that's what concerns me. That's why even though there were some cool games announced at yesterday's Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, I have to still do research to see if I will get them or not (which kills me in the case of Pac-Man World 2: Re-Pac and Once Upon a Katamari).
But is it better than Arkanoid DS?
Waiting for a sale on those things is always a good idea.
Either farm games are popular or they're easy to make. Don't forget that it was Harvest Moon that started it all, not Stardew Valley.
I mean, I get it. HALO is the face of the 360. But it was Pac-Man CE that caused me to get a 360.
I didn't even look at the price for the Pac-Man Atari because I just knew it would be ridiculous.
It was initially designed for the Switch, but they changed it to be for the Switch 2 at some point.
